Damn I never thought about the Calgar buff for healers ! That's a good tip, I'm so happy that I got Calgar from requisition, he's very good in a lot of situations and his active is so satisfying to clean the board

Calgars passive: adjacent friendly units gain xxxx dmg. Healer trait: The amount of Health restored equals the healers damage blablabla. So Calgars passive helps your healer s direct heal, but not heal by skills .

This SPII x Titus cross-over event seems interesting. Sounds similar to the recent SRE anniversary II we just had but with a twist and personality of its own. Really am intrigued for what is to come and am also excited for the new game-mode; as it was really inevitable for it to be announced. Hoping that the new character Titus finds his on path in the game amongst the other characters.

Looks great! HREs can be very grind-y (150 abilities anyone?) so this looks like a very positive change for unlocking new characters. Can't wait to try it out, and hopefully this will be a feature of future character releases too!

I'm tenativly excited to play this game mode, it seems fun. I just worry that it will be "another" thing to have to do making the game feel like a job. All these overlaping events are exhausting and kinda burning me out on the game.

Would be awesome to see this with other factions as it can let you test and hopefully unlock otherwise difficult to unlock characters. Also great for testing teams for Onslaught. Very fun and hope to see more of it

Interesting analysis. At the end of the day though, regardless of the event structure (which you perfectly described), what really matters is how likely it is to unlock the character for free. If it turns out it's impossible even with teams that regularly manage to complete LREs, then it will be a failure imho.

He’s great, definitely wish I paid him more attention but I’d go with Godswyl myself. He hits two every time anyway Paired with Thoread behind both of you were going full melee would be great but Thoread doesn’t affect the pre counter attack of Jaeger which is shit.

Thing is with him he lacks mobility on a small map and risks getting surrounded and then taken out by the ranged Nids. He will be good to bring in at the start like Nandi said but when everyone is surrounded his use won’t be great. Godswyl is much better because he can guarantee 2 hits. He either kills his target and whacks another or takes it down a notch so someone else can clean it up. I don’t think Mataneo is going to be that great at the later levels due to the fact you’re probably not killing them fast enough to have space to summon. Plus he risks getting surrounded for that reason and picked off easily.

@@lewishorsman2219 The only character I did a hard grind to get the shards for that was not required for a campaign was Jaeger. I am glad it was him, as while I refuse to do that again, I do really like him (especially for the Black Templar campaign). My Godswyl is so so. I started to level him, then started to sleep on him, then saw his potential and started putting resources into him. He is still not great, but that is because he is one of may on the queue. So he gets resources, but Belator, Null, and Abraxas are all getting more of my attention, and some others are getting attention due to needing more power to finish their main campaigns.

They should give ALL Spacemarines a faction trait that makes them not overkill-able (unless it's through a forced interaction like Maladus) That would make Incisus exponentially better as a healer for the faction he's a part of since he'll be able to take advantage of that high revive chance % instead of just being outclassed by Isabella It would also make sense since Ultramarines have various sets of organs, so they're way less prone to a sudden death should one of them fail, at least long enough for an Apothecary to fix them (I think there was a Spacemarine that survived with half its face blown off long enough to stumble towards an Apothecary that ended up saving his life in one of the books?) It would also help give Spacemarines more identity among the other Empire factions as THE bulky characters, and would open them to be a good answer to future mechanics, who knows maybe one day we'll see a chaos character that gains buffs if he overkills enemies or something like that, would fit Slaneesh since they're all about excess 👀

I've had some days with it now. The main problem I've seen is the ramp up from Wave 9 to Wave 10. It's not a step up but a ladder up. The other things I would want changed if carried forward, is the "do damage with abilities" quest is just boring now and can be farmed through. I really did like that we knew what groups would be able to be taken for this event, so I could build up Incisis a bit (there's always more), and knowing that ahead of time would be great.

Calgar is a very very good hero and has remained top tier for as long as the game has been around (despite the newer additions). I'd always recommend farming him

Hey Nandi, can you investigate the reduced drop rate for hero shards. For as long as i have playing it was usual to get 3 shards per 10 campaign missions. Now it is common to get 1 or 2.

I hope they keep incursion mode and bring it every 2 months with the new raiding system. I think Godswyl & Thoread deserve a mention. Is Thoread great for this mode? No. But what he will do is help Incisus deal more damage and maybe increase his heal potential. Eventually you’ll have to turtle so a team like Bellator, Incisus, Calgar, Godswyl & Burchard will be key Mataneo will only work if there is any space on the map but at the midway point it would likely get flooded. And Bellators summons are better anyway
