That's his current room. On the wall is a Crux Terminatus. A signifier that the bearer has earned the right to use terminator armour

@@_spooT the only reason why he is second company is because he was betrayed and accused of corruption and he was removed from his old company be for join deathwatch

@@death-xs8bc Titus was the Capitan of the 2nd Company during the events of Space Marine 1. He was then taken by the Inquisition, tortured to prove his purity, and put into stasis. The Inquisitor who put him in stasis, was later executed for heresy by the Grey Knights, and when they raided the former Inquisitor's holdings, they found Titus and several other Astartes in stasis. Said Inquisitor hated them after all. Titus felt ashamed for even being suspected of heresy, and THEN he joined the Deathwatch as a Blackshield. When he was brought back to the Ultramarines, they already had a new Capitan in Acheran, and they wern't going to just demote him for that. So Titus accepted being demoted back to Lieutenant, despite being far older, and much more experienced than Acheran.

It's a tradition to let former Deathwatch Space Marine to keep his silver pauldron when he go back to his chapter. Many astartes die while performing their duty to the Deathwatch. The silver pauldron is a badge of honor and a proof of experience against unknown xenos threat. And also, one of the few autorised customisation that a SM can do without any problem with the Codex or his hierarchy.
