In Titusville there's a large abandoned assisted living center on Counts Lane, an interesting place with more graffiti than the old hotel you went into in the Everglades a few years ago, remember that place?

🤔 Seeee . . . (some FEW) homeless people CAN be clean, tidy, & not trash their area . It IS possible. Kudos to that person for giving a shit & having some decency, pride, & self respect 🤠 . If ALL homeless people could PICK UP THEIR TRASH they would find it would help their cause tremendously . People might even be more compassionate toward them, also helping their cause much much more. Scary looking place. I don't really care about Titusville all that much, it's kind of a boring town stuck in the 70s with not a whole lot that stands out about it, but I do like how the surrounding area does offer a lot of outdoor activities with all the wildlife refugee's, and the Kennedy Space Center is nearby, but aside those things it's too far away from the rest of the county to be noteworthy to me. It takes almost an entire hour to get to Titusville from Palm Bay, which is why a majority of the county government is now in Viera. Development there has also been very economically complacent throughout the years, Titusville doesn't even have it's own Wawa yet but I heard it's supposed to get one soon, though surprisingly there's 2 Starbucks.

@@gabryy12 The only real development that I've seen in Titusville over recent year's was the demolition of the Miracle City Mall, one of the earliest malls in Brevard, for Titus Landings. It's pretty much a dead town these days, nothing exciting is going on there. I find it odd that Okeechobee, Arcadia, and Sebring, Florida country heartland towns that are barely growing, are getting new Wawas and all kinds of new investments while Titusville is getting nearly nothing, although they all supposed to have their first store in Fall 2023.

It's the truth about homeless wherever they squat. I live in the Keys in a neighborhood with quite a few preservation lots that have been bought by the county. I walk my dogs twice a day and since I had a poop bag in hand I decided to start picking up bits and pieces of their trash till my bag was full. At first it seemed like a passive aggressive war I had entered. It's like their trash marks territory. Well my property tax bill marks my neighborhood. I used to have great sympathy for homeless people but not anymore. They are feral people who don't want help in the way of housing and rehab. They want to live in filth and expect your pleasant tolerance. I'm happy to report, after three months the "nests" I've cleaned up have stayed cleaned up. And less and less trash is being tossed on the way to those nests every night. I'm sure they probably just moved deeper into the woods someplace else but it goes to show how a tolerant blind eye is a welcome mat to your backyard.

It's not necessarily the stupidity of people in fla.. I'm down here in Titusville from Atlanta and I can tell you it's all over states. Now what I can tell you for sure is a lot of the people here in Titusville from what I've seen in the last few days they do have some serious drug habits. I just drove through some sections yesterday and it felt like I was in opa-locka or college park. Even in the areas where it's not that bad it's still looks "nostalgic".. yes that's the word I'd use... Maybe the next time I come back down to visit Titusville will be cleaned up. I tell everybody just stay on A1A and you'll be just fine, once you get off it's questionable.
