The gentleman from the housing authority, he told you" where the spots were" exactly "spots." Then you question whether Titusville has "upper middle class areas" ? Your mockery of the southern accent makes it difficult for anyone to take you serious. The truth is there is nothing wrong with you highlighting the crime issues in Titusville. It may encourage some political players to address those issues more seriously. However, when you choose to agree with the testimony of one or two individuals who agree with your narrative over the testimony of many individuals who disagree with your narrative, it shows you have a bias attitude and your arrogance is evident. The truth is Titusville has many nice safe and beautiful areas. In fact, the vast majority about 80 percent is nice. The fact that you make it seem like it's mostly bad is unfortunate. I live in part of that 80 percent and you calling people "sensitive pricks" makes you look like one. Just tell the truth and your videos won't be as distasteful. When a doctor does surgery he doesn't call the healthy tissue unhealthy just to make his diagnosis more dramatic. If you simply tell the truth that Titusville has a crime problem and a homeless problem (primarily due to outsiders moving to the city) then many will take you more serious. As I said there is a positive contribution to be made by your videos if you just stop exaggerating and stop your foolish mockery. Thanks for your time. Dios TE Bendiga.

I work in Titusville Monday through Friday. And what some people call 'boring' is in fact 'very quiet'. Specially during the week. Weekends are a little bit more active but not even crazy. It's something apart. Not much options, so easier to choose.

When space program stopped jobs were list pole moved. It’s building up again the space program and building more housing again. I was born in Tampa then Orlando and too many ppl I will never go back. My brother has lived in Titusville for over 50 years and I own a small mobile home in Titusville that I use when I visit from Virginia. Your video is VERY one sided and misleading. I love visiting Titusville, for many reasons...Friendly people, Many outdoor activities, Great fishing, Rocket launches (almost every week now, how cool is that!), Good restaurants, Low cost of living, Low crime, actually, No traffic...easy to get around. The town is actually growing as more people discover this Florida secret. Keep on telling people that is is terrible so it doesn't grow too fast!

I grew up in Titusville and still live here. I had a friend in highschool who got shot in the head while playing the game in his room through the window from a drive by. Brevard got a bad drug and homeless problem too and Titusville and cocoa are the hotspots. I don't think titusville is as bad as other places in Florida but it def isn't nice. Everybody I met outside of the ville always gave me a gross look when told em where I'm from.

Titusville is a very nice community. It has had a resurgence since the inception of SpaceX and blue origin and all of the tech sector that goes to support that. There are new places sprouting up everywhere, people are polite crime is not a factor and the guy that made this video is looking for clicks, and nothing else. he appears to believe he is a Street creature and seeks attention by pretending to be something he is not. I have lived here for eight years and loved every single day of it. It has wonderful waterside parks from north to south. It has a new shopping center called Titusville Landing, new restaurants and a marvelous high-tech movie theater, etc. Come join us in creating a good community.

I have lived in Titusville for 37 years. I have never really liked the city but it has grown on me. I once met our mayor at the time in about 1999 (I didn't know it till I after this comment). I wrapped up my comment by saying "its a nice crap hole little town". He was not at all impressed. 😃I have said for years that it is a Cultural Void.

I lived in Titusville for 5 years from 2015 to 2020 and absolutely LOVED it, and yes it has crime and yes it has addicts BUT the overwhelming majority of the crime is committed by people who live in or from Orlando. in 2019, the last full year I lived in Titusville there were 5 shootings, in all 5 shootings atleast 1 or more of the people involved lived or was new to Titusville from Orlando. including one where there 2 cars of hoodlums from Orlando that were chasing each other around town after midnight shooting at each other, how is that "crime in Titusville" had they taken a right on SR 520 they would have had crime in Cocoa or Rockledge or Melbourne..... Is Titusville crime free? Absolutely not, but a good 95% of that crime stems from or comes from Orlando transplants/visitors. In the 5 years I lived in Titusville I never once worried about crime because for the most part is no crime and what crime there is comes from Orlando.

This past week 2blks from my condo gun fight broke out in front of the Winn Dixie at Barna & Harrison. I went thru that intersection 5mins earlier. We all deal with Drugs, break ins.

Merritt Island is still a lot like "Mayberry". Everybody knows your name, and for the most part everybody knows what your doing before you do LOL!!! I raised my daughter on the Island and she is now raising her children on the Island. In 25yrs I NEVER locked the back door!! I was THAT house that parents hated and the kids loved. But once those parents knew their kids trusted me enough to tell me things they were to afraid to tell them, they came to respect me, and thank me. Even the Deputies loved me. No matter how big the issue was, I always convinced them we were in it together. That meant being by their side when they had to face their parents and on many occasions the Sheriff's Dept LOL.

So here's my two cents. I mean I don't know why people are getting mad and upset you're just giving us some information and we live in a very different world lately things aren't what they were many many years ago. I've lived in Titusville for 2 years now, central area. I was born and raised in Manalapan New Jersey and Titusville reminds me of that town and also Belmar New Jersey where the some of my f family is from. Honestly as of 30ish years ago no where you live is like it used to be. I've lived in Florida for 17 years now St Pete, Clearwater, I was in Pasco for a little bit then Orlando for a few years. Orlando is even is much different than it was 20 years ago. Yeah of course there's bad areas in Titusville just like all these other towns I listed. I just stay away from those areas. Other than that this is a pretty great place to live. Yes it's an older town but there's lots of building going on. So it can only get better here. So basically I grew up in a town like this not much to do but close to the water that's good enough for me and in my 20s if I wanted to have fun we were driving to the Jersey Shore or out to New York City. So people are looking for a quiet chill place to live this is it but yeah everywhere is going to have not so great areas, is what it is these days. And I was actually at the Dollar General when the shooting happened I was getting out of my car and heard the gun shots yeah it's sort of shocking but it seems to be the norm these days.

The only good thing about Titusville is the big bridge over the Indian River. Great for walking and Fishing and shrimping. One of the best bridges in Florida and nobody knows about it.

I lived in Baltimore and visited Titusville. Honestly I think they're just different. Baltimore is a city, more densely populated, and I witnessed so many muggings when I lived there. In Titusville I definitely saw some drug deals from afar, and there are people I saw walking who were 'not OK'. Titusville is more remote, so I am sure there is a lot more that goes on, that you just don't see. Probably also depends where exactly you live in each place.

In Brevard county, everything north of Rockledge on mainland is like a barren wasteland. Expect for Downtown Cocoa and Kennedy Space Center, there's very little growth or job opportunities. Titusville is just a really bland place overall and you would think there would be more to the town with NASA but there's nothing there.
