Thanks for this info! Fellow Canadian here - planning to go with our kids spring 2025. At first I thought this would be too resorty for us- but I think the location and view has won me over. Walking under/in the caves at low tide yes pls!!! I have also found European hotel stars to be inflated compared to what we are perhaps used to resorts in the Caribbean.

Were did you guys fly to. Lisbon or is there an airport in that area?

We flew to Lisbon and rented a car from there but there is an airport in Faro that you can fly in to.
