Idk I don't think that's the reason personally I think it just all of a sudden got popular from all the millennials who grew up with it and it and TJ Maxx caught on and became Rae Dunn level crazy. None of it is branded 50th merch

As someone who works at Marshalls (TJX company), employees unfortunately can buy up whatever they want and just put it on a hold for several days, or up to a week. Theres not really a rule behind it, we get 10% off, so some people unfortunately use it to a disadvantage to other people :( wish it was 1 per person

Yes hello kitty is a big deal right now. I think my daughter wants that same blanket. I went to a tjmaxx and she said the employees aren't allowed to hold them for customers or even if they call they can't say they have them, it's kinda like you'll have to come in and see if we have them. we never did find a halloween one.

I’ve seen employees do this at my tj maxx it’s actually illegal to resale things if you work at any discount store I would’ve told the manager what you saw the employee doing I’ve seen target and Walmart and bath and body works employees doing it 😢😢😢😢😢😢I don’t think they are allowed to hold stuff for themselves or people either

Ugggh, I can’t wait to check out TJ Maxx, Home Goods etc this year! I’m doing my house in grinch/vintage Christmas cartoon theme this year and I’ve heard they have so much cute Christmas and grinch stuff that really really scratches the nostalgia itch lol. I’m from Australia and being a worker at TK Maxx I see so much drama on the HK stuff which we hardly ever get compared to usa but also everyone goes crazy for the juicy couture stuff. so many customers calling us to check if we’ve gotten any, or buying carts full of the same item to resell to other customers. It’s so unfair as an employee to see these things because the shelves are empty by the end of the day let alone the week. I’ve grown up with a hello kitty collection since I was like 5 years old and I’m now 28
