He should have confronted him about it. This whole “what would be the point in that?” doesn’t seem like the way to go. Often times people don’t realize they’ve acted totally out of pocket and it’s easy to see how being great at riffing in movies, people can be totally mean or insensitive and thinking it’ll be a golden moment. I think every comedian or actor is always looking to have that golden moment. And jokes, sad to say, I’ve been told a lot of jokes that come off mean to me that I’m left thinking “there’s no way they meant any other way than to be mean” but when you confront them they really have no clue and think they weren’t being mean or they assume you wouldn’t take it personally.

@@David-wo9un ryan reynolds seems like he would make jokes about how bad he is to the crew, but everyone in the crew probably loves when he comes around. TJ Miller seems like a guy that says he is so loved by the crew and everyone laughs at his jokes, but the crew most likely rolls their eyes and gives forced laughs at his repetitive jokes just so he will leave.

I could see why Miller was upset. He thinks Ryan used that one take to actually take shots at him. However, I wouldn’t had taken it personal. Like all jobs, you will have hiccups and uncomfortable moments but if you are truly good coworkers. You can alway ask them if everything is okay.

@@timebomb6080 He is 1000% joking lol. The people in this comment section just don't know him, so they don't have the background to udnerstand. If you watch his standup, or one of the few interviews where he sometimes veers into seriousness it bcomes clear immediately. The parts he plays up here, being self-satisfied and saying things like "im so nice to the crew, everyone likes me" is his comedic style entirely. He's extremely sympathetic in reality.
