I've had a similar setup for years except I have the older Escape 150 which I've since swapped out the battery after 5 years of use. The best bet it to buy their products when they have their Black Friday specials. Seriously deep discounts then.

I have the nomad 20, inverter and the sherpa50. best backpack kit for recharging my laptop and other smaller electronics by far. was worth the money. I also keep a small guide10 for the aaa/aa unit in the nomad pouch. works great as a system. we need to get more people using the goal zero equipment as it's hight quality and we'll worth the money

Ya I do the same thing. I also have a small backup Nomad 7 that's just for my phone.

TJack Survival I'm thinking of getting one of the yetti packs. But I have to figure out how I want to run them. Like for a generator or something.
@TJackSurvival8 жыл бұрын
+BlackRifle Survival It would make a great backup to a generator. The generator and/or a solar panel can be the source and the Yetti the power bank. Lots of options.

Good review and timely. I was just thinking about improving my power packs for the field. Will definitely check out your friend's website.

+Weekend Wanderer He's got all sorts of stuff on there. I like it because his warehouse is local and that gives me the chance to go and play with all of the stuff. Thanks for watching!

That is really nice stuff, but I don't need that much power. Maybe some day. Today I use a cheap solar battery pack I paid like $15 for and it works for charging my phone and a LED light for my tent or shelter at bed time. It works for me at this time. I wish I could afford your setup because it would open up a whole new way of doing things for survival. Thank you for the great information.
@TJackSurvival8 жыл бұрын
Ya this is all I could afford as well, but the power demands of a ham radio, GPS, and camera are very high.

you grazing on bark now ty before making your videos we got to seriously get you recivilised and outa those woods? to begin start your much needed rehabilitations?! back into society!! its a very nice set up my query is how robust are those panels can they get broken? inadvertantly fall while packing in? etc backwards roll onto your pack? etc and how quick are they at charging even the juicier stuff? i like goal zero a lot but their prices are very high cheaper options do exist but not as good as goal zero stuff its well thought out

It's great Stuff but that stuff is very $$$$$. on Amazon the Sherpa 100 is $350, the Sherpa 50 is $200 the 2- watt solar panels is $200. the inverter is $50.
@TJackSurvival8 жыл бұрын
+Kristyanna Virgona Yes but that is the nature of the beast. If you can find this quality for cheaper let me know. Because as far as I know there isn't a better kit out there that is as light weight or field appropriate as this.
@Screamingtut8 жыл бұрын
+TJack Survival But the real problem is most people do not have that kind of $$$
@TJackSurvival8 жыл бұрын
+Kristyanna Virgona some do, some don't. Each person has different means and different needs. This is what I needed, so I made it happen. Thanks for watching.

The only bad thing with GOAL ZERO solar panels is the colours because spots very easy with light green graphics ... Need more Discreetly colours hard to spotted by any random visitor from your camping area..
@TJackSurvival7 жыл бұрын
I can see that, but I personally would tape or paint something if that was my singular concern.
