That’s why I always take a ultralight and some z-man micro finesse baits with me. It maybe only a bunch of rock bass but it makes my day.

Pretty fun day on an awesome stream. I know you’ve told me you don’t eat fish before but man if I was fishing that spot I would have to bring home a half dozen of those beautiful Crappie or else Karen would give me the evil eye. We both love us some Crappie Tacos.

Do you throw chatterbaits often by the way? That spot where you ran the hybrid hunter might be fun to rip it through the grass if not too thick.

I've thrown a chatterbait at just about every location I've fished. Haven't caught one yet. Surprised cuz I usually catch at least one good one on chatterbait. The grass was EXTREMELY thick in this stream. I'm wondering if it's always this way or if the water's low. Next time I'll fish the other end .... 5 miles downstream.
