I cant thank you enough for the how to videos. I have fallen in love with 2 strokes more specifically pwc 2 strokes and am trying to learn and understand as much as i can and these videos are much easier to understand compared to a wall of text. I hope you continue making videos about 2 strokes and start to go into the theory behind the changes made more

Does this 1MC handle run on my Foredom motor and what are the item numbers of those two burrs being run there? I need to get them ordered up!
@Ccspecialtytool8 жыл бұрын
+David Thorne the bit used in the 182AMC, which is the first 90 degree I use 0:36 is a D shape 1/8 inch carbide burr www.ccspecialtytoolstore.com/tungsten-carbide-burrs-p/8carbburshpd.htm . The burr I use in the 1MC shown at 4:02 is a Left Hand cut B shape www.ccspecialtytoolstore.com/tungsten-carbide-burrs-p/lhcarbshpb.htm . I typically only use B shapes in the very corners, I use D and C shapes the most . Thanks for watching

+David Thorne If your Foredom motor has the key tip set up shown at this link, www.ccspecialtytoolstore.com/product-p/93.htm , then yes it will work with all of our rotary tools. We have a very limited amount of tools that work with the square end flex shaft they sell.

so in a nutshell: porting is essentially the re-shaping of all the factury "sharp" 90 degree ports into "smooth" semi-sherical slopes...kinda like dulling a sharp edge

Thanks for watching and I wish it was that simple. You're right, improving the air flow by decreasing abrupt direction changes, to a reasonable extent, is a crucial aspect, however there are many other things to consider.

CC Specialty :) , but I think you are asking the displacement of the cylinder in the video, and that would be 250cc. However we sell porting tools to work on any displacement size 2 stroke engine. The 90 degree in the video will work on engines down to 30cc.
