You keep talking about “oil consumption issues” on the 370Z I’ve had my 370Z for 2 years now with full bolt ons making 330whp and it has 0 oil consumption issues. Like i haven’t even noticed it burning a spec of oil. DE engines on the 03-06 350zs were the oil burners. 07 and later 350s and 09 and later 370s (all of them) are fine. As for mods, do long tube intakes from Z1 (don’t fall for the 3 inch intake Jazz, it’s not a real improvement), then do ISR long tube headers from the 350Z HR (they’re a direct fit and only $560). Do a full catback, the ISR y pipe and GT single exit is baller for the money, or tomei if you want real Gucci shit. Save yourself the headache, time, and money and get a ZSpeed CMAK V2 to delete the concentric slave cylinder (which fails often) and do a ZSpeed clutch kit. I went JWT and it’s great, but there’s better options. You can also do ported upper and lower intake plenum from Z1. Also do Z1 motor mount, trans mount, solid diff bushings, and bell race works diff brace. Your Z is also a base model. Get the Quaife 1.5 or 2 way LSD and get the akebono big brake kit and some EBC red stuff pads and EBC slotted rotors.

Also I suggest you reach out to Z1 Motorsports for your Z needs. They have a ton of experience with the platform and can lead you in the right direction for your build. They can help you with anything from simple to complex (like their VR30TT swapped 370z). As far as exhaust goes, Ignore the Tomei and check out Thaitanium (spelled like that) Exhaust for some great Titanium Exhaust options and they can even make you something custom for what you want or need. As far as tuning you want Jon Parham at Z1.

I've forgot to write it on the last video, but - you can turn off the ESP, the button is on the left side from the steering wheel, and down. From the dashboard itself - just look left and down. One press and it's off, no half way or "sport mode". The only thing is that when in drifting - and changing directions. if you touch the brake pedal - it will be ON for a split of a second. So when you do a transition, use the gas pedal or the hand brake. I'm the head of the Nissan Motorsports sales in my country, I know this car very well...

The transmissions in the Zs are known to have synchro's go. Try skipping from 3rd to 5th you'll get the grinding doing that.
@Timmy999884 жыл бұрын
When I worked at Nissan, most of the time for the leaks on the Z is the crush washer. If you over tighten them, they leak... and vice versa if you don't tighten them enough, they leak. So most likely it is a crush washer and if not it is the pan leaking.
