When I built my repair kit for my Long Term Bug Out Bag, I bought a set of ITW Nexus replacement buckles for my ILBE. Fastex and Duraflex should have replacement buckles as well. The ones I bought were really affordable, I think I paid $16 or so and got a variety of sizes and they were actually two sets of replacement buckles. They are Coyote Brown as well to match the ILBE. Therefore, they would match that Condor Chest Rig. Just look up ILBE replacement buckles on a Google Image Search and they should pop up. I think a single set would run you around $8. They're easy to install as well. Hope you see this and it helps. Shalom man.

Got some adds you might consider. 1. 'Vicks rub' small tub or tiny tin. The multitool of petroleum distillates! Anti rust even in close proximity, anti bug & itch even chafe. As effective as Neosporin on minor boo-boos and slightly analgesic, smear it on something for a better ignitor. Did someone say emergency gun grease? 2. As for a BIC I prefer a 'Scripto Clic' no flints to disintegrate, a annoyance free simple safety to keep the gas in and they work wet! 3. A cover centric 'neck gaiter'. Blend in with the COOF & stay anonymous! Keep warm for nearly zero added weight cost. I like a nice Touk made of itch free Merino wool better than synthetics for reasons. 4. Last ditty, is a decent big 'flyweight drybag'. Buoyancy tool and if you get two they can be camp socks or water wings. 4 1/2. You must have epic footwear because I didn't see moleskin.... I hope at least one of those got your attention. And all should be very, very light combined.

Love the stuff bear. I do have some advice on the med kit. If you're (not you, mainly talking to viewers) not trained I wouldn't worry about decompression needles. As an EMT we seldom use them in the field and in untrained hands will more than likely do more harm than good. Something like Vaseline gauze taped on three sides and then "burp" it on inspiration to release the negative pressure and reinflate the lung. Train hard and stay vigilant!

Note: if I’m securing something ‘permanently’ with 550 (para)cord I’ll break out the thread and needle and drop a few stitches through it. 550 loop, with strands in, around a rifle butt and around mid hand guard for sling mounting locations. If you don’t have at least A 1000’ roll of 550, zombies will know and you’ll be first!

I used a condor chest rig on deployment in Afghanistan. It didn't last longer than 2 or 3 weeks before it was unserviceable. Daily removal and replacement of mags alone wore out the magazine pockets. The stitching came loose and all of the separated pockets became a large purse pocket. It isn't gonna last if and when people ever have to use it for the reasons they purchased it. Just spend a little more . Condor gear is always an indicator for dosnt train much/full of sht. It just doesn't survive when you actually use it

I've busted WAY too many camelbacks to ever not have a canteen on my kit. I just prefer drinking out of a canteen anyway if I'm stationary. People are going to complain about that being too many magazines. If you are one of those people, then you probably do not understand basic small unit tactics. Much unlike personal self defense, small unit tactics generally require a large amount of ammunition being fired to be successful. Hard to get fire superiority with four mags.
