Yeah! There's their next idea for the Legacy line: The DJW Memorial Legacy. It would the perfect excuse for Strika to be reintroduced, along with TFA Sentinel Prime, Lockdown, a new Lugnut, and maybe the next Stunticon (ties in with the Stinti-Con Job comic).

Always wanted to see a return of Demolisher and Scavenger from the Armada line. Demolisher especially could use some updated engineering and design while Scavenger is just long overdue. Funny thing is I grew up on G1 but found Armada interesting.

Yes please. I love Thunderblast in Cybertron. I really want her to get a new and better toy. Hell take some engineering ideas from the 86 Scourge since his alt mode is basically a space boat. Cybertron Scourge I would want too. And given that we're already getting Metroplex and Override this year he and Evac are very likely to come at some point so Hasbro and Takara can do all the planet leaders. Hopefully next year.

I’d choose like… 80% of the transformers from Japanese made series like RID2001 and Unicron Trilogy, those designs are underrated and use a philosophy lost to modern day transformers that really bring out the child in me… probably because much of them either went into or came from the Brave Series which is something I wish got modern day updates

The one missing for me is Slipstream. She was a main antagonist turned hero in Cyberverse, and none of her retail release figures have knees. (Except the scout class toy that only half transforms.) Other than that I'd say this is a pretty solid list.

Yes, either size. He's also got several repaint options, as we have the mostly purple Japanese version, the green and grey US release, and the white and green Energon Look. He's definitly one of my top picks.

@@brotquel1592 So it's pretty clear a lot of fans want him, and we feel he should be either Commander or Titan Class. Personally I feel he should come with his minicon, and I'd like to see them keep the ability to split up if they can, not for combining with Megatron, i just thought it was a cool thing to do. With them feeling Cybertron Metroplex can sell a Titan Class, anything is possible I imagine.

I'm the guy who would have Machine Wars Starscream in his top 5, so I appreciate the shout-out. IIRC I was a senior in high school when Machine Wars hit. I'd grown up on the G1 toys and cartoon, didn't pay much mind to G2, and found Beast Wars unappealing. I was walking through the local mall one evening, passing the Kaybee and I saw a display with that Starscream front and center. I don't know what it was about it, but it really caught my eye. Of course, at that age I sort of saw myself above silly kids toys, and regret not buying it to this day.

"almost perfect" (screams in the anguish of many shattered ball joint receptacles from RID'01 Prowl/Car Robots Mach Alert's doors) Though I would definitely love to see the Autobot Brothers come back. I've actually thought of how the Cordon retool of Earthrise Sunstreaker could be further modified - maybe have the roof be on the back, and the chest be designed to emulate the original's somehow. Maybe re-jigger the arm transformations. The legs and top of the feet could also be tweaked since they wouldn't really need to emulate the CR-01 design anymore. I would not be adverse to Energon Ironhide, so long as they leave the gimmicks in 2004.

I definitely agree with Strika, Airachnid, and Strongarm. In regards to which ones I'd like to see, I'd really like to see them tackle some of the Decepticons from RID 2015 like Thunderhoof and especially Steeljaw. I thought Steeljaw was a great character in the show but the toy of him did not do him justice due to the lack of heels to where the tail had to be a third leg. Having a newer toy with a larger budget I think would do him much better.

For Airachnid, best partsformless I can see is her legs folding up then compressing into her rotors, and only 3, unless they have a spring-loaded gimmick where you turn the top half of the rotor and 3 becomes 6.

One I would love to get new toy is Armada Sideways too. They have perfect mold, with Junkions. Heck, if I had money, could work Scrapheap into Sideways with some paintwork and with different arm guns... And after mess of Nemesis and Galvatron in Siege-Trilogy, it would not be surprise if Unicron employed him to cause chaos again... He is no doubt Unicron's most skilled agent! As for Head problem of Sideways, they could stick with Crosswise/Decepticon Head. It is one he is most well known of. Other three would be Shockblast (Could make him failed clone of Shockwave and part of Mercenary Faction, like Soundblaster), and Thunderblast from Cybertron. ...We all know last one would sell like heck... And finally, Rampage from Beast Wars.

When I first read the last round of leaks I thought they were a joke. Especially the leader class Prime Skyquake. I thought that maybe they meant G1 Skyquake instead. Which would eventually lead to Machine Wars Starscream. I'd love it if we got a new Strongarm. Smallfoot could be her retool as it would work much better than a Gears redeco. I still would want that too though. I'll list off ten myself and try not to pick any you did. In no particular order though. Just a few off the top of my head. 10. Cy-Kill. If they're making a new Crasher then I want a new Cy-Kill too. 9. Savage/Noble. I don't care if the wings partsform or stay on the back for a flying lycanthrope or not. I would just love to have a "dragon" that turns into a wolf thing. What is Savage? It's not a European dragon as it only has two legs. It's clearly not a Chinese dragon. It's not a wyrm as it has legs and wings. It's not a wyvern as its wings are not also arms/legs. It's not a lindworm as it has wings. It's not an amphithere as it has legs. It's not a drake as it has wings and only two legs. Doesn't matter, I still want one. 8. Cryotek. Nevermind, he's going to be a Generations Selects figure next year. If not then what are Hasbro doing. 8 redo. Magmatron. It's just awesome. I like dinosaurs. I like combiners. Done. It was released in Beast MACHINES in America so it doesn't count as Beast WARS. And it has such great redeco potential as its Predacon doppelganger that has the exact same colors. Easiest redeco ever lol. 7. Armada Jetfire. I love the design and it can be used for two other characters as well. Galaxy Shuttle and Spay-C. Super Spay-C has her wings up and on the back just like Jetfire and GS. I like space shuttles. 6. Leader 1. More Go-Bots are always good. But give him his own mold instead of being a version of Starscream. Unless it's retooled enough for a Universe Sideswipe/Sunstreaker trick. Earthrise SS can't do that though as it stuck too much to the Classics figure much to it's detriment. 5. Animated Safeguard. Should've been named Firestorm...oh wait, it can't. Stormfire then? What's the other option, Jetjet? Autobot flyers are cool. Combiners are cool. Done. 4. Prime Predaking. It's just a normal dragon design but it's so good. 3. Prime Hardshell/Bombshock. I would normally pick Airachnid but I said I'd pick different characters so why not her legion? Plus it's a kickass design that needs a much bigger toy to give it justice. 2. 2007 Incinerator. I finally just got a complete one the other day for dirt cheap. It's such a unique figure. But maybe give him some fingers using the rotors. What? Too close to Obsidian? Fine I'll pick someone else. Incinerator could definitely be a retool of Obsidian or vice versa. 2 redo. 2007 Stratosphere. Titan class. This dude is HUGE. He's roughly in scale with the legion class sized Optimus that comes with him so it would make sense as a titan to do the same with a voyager or leader sized Optimus. 1. Thunderblast. She needs to be redone to go against her rival, Override. I read a few comments and want to mention a few others here. RID Landfill. RID Rail Racer. Animated Oil Slick. Vector Prime. Energon Landmine. Lugnut. Windblade. And I thought of one that goes above all. The one character that should have an official toy for the first time ever. The best character in its series. The one, the only: Signal Lancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did that not happen as a Battlemaster? He could've been a traffic light to go with all the Micromaster bases and rampformers. Damn, if he didn't get a toy then, he's never going to. He would've been perfect. What a waste.

First of all: Yes to Ironhide. Hell, without the Powerlinx gimmick,you could even just fold away his head (I'd argue for leaving the lights and other stuff and just play into the idea of his vehicle-mode being some sort of mobile meteorology lab/stormhunter vehicle) Second of all: I feel a REALLY hated idea that I want to see get re-made regardless would be Beast Machines Nightscream. He only ever had 1 toy that completely missed the mark, and I would love to see a toy that actually captures the Nosferatu inspiration to his robot mode (ankle wings are also a must!)

Also, I think Takara should release some of the "Targetmaster" figures that came with their version of Transformers Prime in the US. Finally, in the future all Ultra Magnus will be based off Animated and not be an Optimus retool.

My top 10 Non G1 characters I want to have new toys. 10. Beast Wars Silverbolt. Like, we've already had plenty of beast wars characters in Kingdom and Legacy, but how can you release Black Arachnia without Silverbolt? 9. Magmatron. How come the transformer made from the largest predatory dinosaurs of land, air, and sea only has one toy to their name? 8. While not a character, in episode 17 of 2015 Transformers RID, there was a Super Tank design built by humans driven by two decepticons. This tank would make for an awesome vehicle, or even a fully transforming figure. 7. Energon Landmine. A madmax inspired plow with a tank trailer that combines with him into a brute mode. What is there not to love? Other than lack of articulation. 6. Animated Constructicons. It would be great to finally get to see the fully formed animated Devastator, as they were a wholly different kind of constructicon crew. 5. Airachnid. Same reasons as many others. 4. Cybertron Scourge: The original toy was very cool but lacked articulation and could do with more organic posability. 3. Animated Lugnut. No Lugnut toy has been able to truly capture the size and awe of a bomber plane and his cartoon appearance. While I am not a fan of light and sound gimmicks, I would love to have a Lugnut with lights and sounds P.O.K.E. 2. Cybertron Thunderblast. The first female decepticon in animation and what a gal. Just as power hungry, manipulative, arrogant, and diva as you would expect. It would be great to have a toy of her who would be able to stand with a boat stuck to her back and an arm cannon larger than her torso. 1. Tidalwave. Like, what else is there to say? The giant big brute of Armada who was the answer to the question, "I wonder what Decepticon Omega Supreme would be like?". A new tidalwave with better articulation and more turrets would be a welcome addition to my collection, even without the ability to combine with Megatron.

Very solid list. A note on the autobot brothers, I've been looking at RID Prowl on my shelf sitting near Armada Blur, and I think one would make a decent re/pretool of the other. I love the design of each and I'm just now seeing the close resemblance between the two.

Honestly, I want another Obsidian more than Strika. Of course they're a package deal, but Obsidian's design and voice actor really sold the character to me as the bright spot of Beast Machines. Strika didn't leave much of an impression past her size, but her character is still as good if not better than a lot of G1s I still like.

I love Lockdown's "mass shifting" because it's achieved partly due to what parts become what. He uses the entire sides of his car mode as his legs. And they STILL have to extend on top of that. That sets the bar for his proportions to really explode.

I was already thinking a lot this week about "we really need new toys of the Vehicon generals" so this video was perfect timing, and you nailed it on Armada Sideways. Honestly I feel like a bunch of the other RID2001 characters who aren't Sky-Bite or Scourge could use another shot too; Rail Racer was a cool design even if it was a hard sell outside of Japan, and you could maybe get away with re-releasing that Megatron mold as it was rather than having to make a new one.

Totally agree that Airachnid needs another chance at a good toy. Personally, I'd love to see Cybertron Soundwave get something new. The stealth bomber alt mode is my favorite interpretation of Soundwave, particularly because the chest compartment becomes the bomb bay door and his minions are the bombs. Other versions of Soundwave struggle to give the chest compartment any relevance in vehicle mode, but Cybertron's idea is great.

The main one you missed that stands out to me is RiD15 Steeljaw. (To be honest, there are a lot of unique designs for Decepticons from that show, but Steeljaw is the most iconic.) The next one is Prime Dreadwing, but that is a very likely repaint for the announced Prime Skyquake.

Personally, I think Tidal Wave should be in the 3rd spot; the TR Retool of BROADSIDE doesn't count considering that it failed the original character that the design was meant for. I thought that the BotCon retools for Obsidian and Strika were good, but fat chance of those versions being rereleased. Your list was pretty spot on, but I personally would've found a way to add RID 2015 Steeljaw (felt like he suffered the same way Arachnid did - mediocre toy design), Wild Wheel or Clobber. To be honest, the whole ARMADA line deserves redesigns.

I'm probably the only one but I would like to have Team Bullet Train from RID done, I don't really know why I want them but I think it because I like the Rail Racer design. Also Cybertron Sideways, while I would love to see the Energon version done its more likely that they'll do Cybertron Sideways because it would be easier to engineer.

I love the Bullet Trains. But Hasbro will never, ever do them. They apparently didn't sell well, and Hasbro is convinced there is no market for Train Transformers that aren't also space shuttles in the US. They'd have to be a Takara Tomy product.

We definitely need more Unicron trilogy figures, I know we're getting Metroplex and Override but the Unicron trilogy figures have been lacking for cycles. Personally I would love a Jetfire figure, heck throw demolisher I love him.

Spending a good amount of time messing around with him, I can see Sideways (and Cy-Kill, now that I think about it) being a heavy retool of Studio Series Wreck-Gar. You could do like his Armada figure does and have the headmasters plug into his regular head which slides down. His torso would have to be re-engineered so that the windshield flips and becomes his chest. I reckon he'd be either a Leader Class figure, or an online exclusive multipack, with an extra rider figure that houses both of the headmaster figures.

I suppose technically it's G1, but I would love to see Hasbro work out a deal with Marvel to make a full TF figure of Death's Head. I've seen customs using Wreck-Gar as a base, and that works fine for me. It would be admittedly neat to have Micromaster or Core Class-sized figures based on different human characters... A new Marissa Faireborn, sure, but also Circuit Breaker, the Sumdacs, and the human villains from Animated.

I feel like eventually we could get Marissa in the GI Joe Classified Series, it wouldn’t be the first time (though it would be the first time retail), plus there’s the whole thing about her being the daughter of Flint and Lady Jaye. Completely agree about the autobot brothers. I thought it would work if Sideburn was loosely inspired by Generations Tailgate. Ironhide's design could easily be redeemed by a better figure.

Which ever one of the autobot Brothers had the riot shield, I could see him getting a figure that’s a remold from the legacy prime bulkhead, since he also came with a riot shield sort of weapon. Yep. Him and animated Sentinel prime.

While I agree with Sideswipe, I personally prefer Cybertron. The only one I would add would be Long Arm Prime. I know he is Shockwave in disguise, but the fact it is such a convincing transformation between them would be great to see again.

Armada sideways needs some redos on the proportions and added articulation but it could be possible. The transformation would need to be redone a bit to accommodate for the new possibility and size but could stay relatively similar to the original like with the motorcycle chest and double wheels on the back. The faction symbols could work like siege Jetfire or universe Dinobot where it’s a small triangular prism like shape that can spin to either symbol or the blank one and to access it you flip out the clear windshield. The yellow masked head could work the same on a slider that can be pushed down to use a titan master, to get the rider it’ll probably have to be 2 custom headmasters that could combine and ride the motorcycle For accessories we have the 2 exhaust pipes that could peg into the arms to get that original look or into the fist as a bat or staff like weapon. This is a rant about getting a sideways but he’s a cool character in armada and with armada stuff coming back sideways would be a good character to have due to his importance in the story of armada. There also could be the energon yellow and black repaint done if hasbro wants and heck maybe instead of autobot/decepticon symbols they use maximal/predacon symbols and say this version is a rouge time traveler trying to correct unicorns interventions in the time stream

Energon Ironside was awesome, imo. One of the figures I got when I first got into collecting in 2014-15. The toy was actually pretty fun. Strongarm is definitely one of the better female Transformers. She lacks that obnoxious heel they like to give them, and despite not having any of the cues from earlier attempts, she still has a female quality to her. I also agree on the Autobot Brothers. But I’d tack on RiD Megatron. I’d like to see him get a new toy. They could go the IDW route and give him just the dragon mode. Stryka would definitely be cool. But I’d honestly like a Voyager sized Tankor. Or even Leader sized.

Strongarm already has a better toy, the Weaponizer Strongarm figure. Take a figure with almost that exact engineering, but upscale it to deluxe, paint it better, remove the ports for her energon armor, add a couple hinges to her forearm kibble so the door panels can fold away better, and add a bit of material to her back so she looks less hollow from behind and you're good to go! I'm surprised that we can't find an upscaled bootleg of that figure on sirtoys or something. If I were to pick one you didn't put on the list...Slipstream from Transformers Animated. To my knowledge she still only has a Takara Legends figure that is a remold of Windblade. I want a proper feminine seeker mold

The redeco of the Voyager Generations Roadbuster in Cloud as Energon Ironhide is already quite good actually! (He even has a Mini-Con compatible port.) ROTF's HFD Lockdown is already magnificent as a new iteration of said original character from TF Animated. Otherwise, a decent wish list. Definitely for a new BM Vehicon Aerial Commander (and all related redecos)! :-) Keep 'em coming, mate!

I know you're not a 3P guy, but considering Hasbro has sometimes taken cues from 3P figures for their designs (i hear about such regarding Siege Jetfire), I wonder if they'd take cues from APC's wholly new take on Airachnid, assuming it comes out good. We are in serious need for a Strongarm. Hell, she could even just be a Siege Hound retool, though yes, a brand new mold is always better. Strika and Obsidian should be OLD Voyager size at minimum, if not the size of Titans Return Blitzwing and Astrotrain. Hell, go for my same proposed size as a new Lugnut: Studio Series Blackout size and girth. Yeah, we REALLY need a new Animated Sentinel Prime. By contrast, I have lesser affinity for the still G1-derived DOTM Sentinel Prime, who is just a fallen hero. Animated Sentinel, by comparison, IS without a doubt on the side of the good guys. It's just that he's just so obliviously baaaaad at being a good guy, and ends up causing more difficulty for Optimus and even Jazz and Magnus. To me, that's more entertaining than typical fallen hero who twists Spock's famous line of self-sacrifice in favor of literally interpreting it. So we need a new take on the big blue Tick-chinned jerkwad. It's easy to make DOTM and G1, so give this version a chance.

@@autobotzapof0002 Sorry, meant SS. But yes, SS Blackout is old Leader size, and that honestly is already a good towers-over-most-figures size. MPM is honestly Commander-class and that might be a tad too big for Lugnut. Great for Tidal Wave, but Lugnut is not THAT big. That is, unless you make all of the Decepticons the scale of their SS figures, which I'm fine with. But if we're going by current CHUG scale from 2008 onwards, even if Megatron is better off having the height of Super Megatron and Kingdom Galvatron than his Siege/Earthrise figure, Lugnut is better off being at least SS86 Grimlock's height, if not the height of CW Ultra Magnus and T30 Jetfire/

10- Ironhide was a pass for me back in the day. I do hope an update hides the head better. 9- Strongarm is definitly one of my top picks for something like this. I feel her having the lightbars on her forearms is one of her defining design traits, and none of her toys seemed to do it. 8- Oh yes, o so very much yes. I have this one, I'd love to see it updated, and I'd love to see Galvatron's cannon as an accessory to homage that one piece of art. 7- Lockdown had the movie style Hunt for the Decepticons, so I'd be all down for a Legacy G1fied version. Best extra would be to throw in an optional chainsaw to homage his repaint. 6- The moment I heard "Good at getting on your nerves" I knew which tool in the shed this one was. 5- I'm honestly pretty happy with how the g1fied Bulkhead worked after actually playing with him. As for Airrachnid... Yeah she needs a better toy. Prime style, G1 Style, she just needs it. 4- Hey another one I called right from your opening. Yeah, the Autobot Brothers could use an update. And a Sideburn that doesn't make you want to tear your hair out transforming. 3- Jetstorm. Eh not much to say here. 2- Strika and Obsideon... Interesting that Strika has been showing up more in comics, and renamed as Alpha Strike in Cyberverse. 1- Armada Sideways is a great pick. There's only two ways I can see him being done justice. Either make him a small voyager with extra engineering, so you can put the budget into the riders, or make Sideways, then sell the riders as a seperate figure, with the budget for all the engineering.

I actually want an Energon Ironhide as well as Sideways. Others not mentioned but could use new toys are: animated series Oilslick, Cybertron Downshift, Cybertron Deadend, Cybertron Ransack, the animal based Decepticons from RID 2015, and Energon Snowcat. I know they’re all ridiculous but that’s what makes them fun. Anyway great and interesting how you called it for a few of them. There are so many that I would like to see. I’ll list some *anybody from rescue bots, there’s a lot of easy slight retools that could do. Chase from the Sun streaker mold. The cluttered desk the other day showed a glimpse of legacy bulkhead as salvage. I could see the Jazz mold as Quickshadow and etc. * energon inferno. Could be and easy retool from either the bulkhead or the g1 inferno mold. * RID15 strongarm of course *beast wars silverbolt and quick strike * animated lug nut * cybertron scattershot * energon or armada hotshot. I know they did a cybertron version. The original energon toy is abysimal but an armada would be cool. Those are some of my picks

I was super happy to see Sideways at no 1, i still have his old figure on my shelf. As for chars not on this list, we can add to the fembot list and I'll say Nightracer. Her design is really cool and her appearances offer a nice mix of curves and the car bot aesthetic. As such, we'd have to get a High Beam toy as well.

Honestly I'd like to see even more Transformers Cybertron representation, the Metroplex is cool, but there were so many other badass designs, and the gimmicks could be easily updated. Loved the list though, animated and beast machines definitely both deserve more love too
