If eating norwegian fish makes you this good in dancing I'm gonna eat the ocean! Awesome dancers, I've seen a lot of "norways got talent" clips and there are a lot of good talents there. And beautiful country. They should do like with the "american idol etc" made a World Idol, and make a "world got talent" competition, where the winners of every country competed agains another. This would be rated HIGH. Greetings from Spain :-)

I know this answer is like 8 years to late buuut.. There was a World Idol show, the year after Kelly Clarkson won American Idol and Norway had their first version of it. Was 11 countries that participated. Norway won that one. Kurt Nilsen, a plumber, against Kelly who was THE pop phenomenon after she won. The reaction videos when the winner is announced is always a little funny to me, Kelly looks a little shocked she didn't win :P Or that she lost to him, idk. Don't know if it was the lack of international interest or that I suspect most of the show was funded by the US who maybe wasn't so hyped to host another one after losing..? Anyway, Europe already has Eurovision, whose concept is a little more artist-friendly, rather than overproduced spectacles like Idol :)

They've finally done it. It's called AGT "Champions". The judging panel consists of two judges from US and two from the UK, the host from US but only the top contestants from all over the world, Asian, European, African, North and South American countries.. the winners from all over the world (global got talent) compete alongside the runner ups and other famous acts (from the live shows and finals) that received the highest traction online (KZbin, FB, IG, Tiktok etc.) on social media platforms and in their respective countries. They did it in 2020 and it went great as expected.
