Notes: You don't need to use the nut extractor unless you've rounded the nuts like me. Just go ahead and use the hydraulic jack with your standard box end spanner. Or try a longer spanner. Or use normal spanners but try and link up a 2nd spanner to make it longer.

The problem you initially had was that the force was being cushioned by the moving prop. Locking the prop was the solution.

undid mine the other day - I ended up using a ring spanner on the nut - and then another ring spanner in the open end of the spanner to give me more leverage, managed to undo them all with the car in 1st gear stopping the shaft from rotating
