TK-Academy: Physical Security

Physical security of buildings is becoming more and more important in our current environment. Protecting sensitive information, physical assets, and personnel are required for almost all facilities. The function of a well-designed security system is to defend, detect, deter, delay, and deny. This is accomplished by providing layers of protection. In this TK-Academy course, you will learn to identify the three components of physical security and understand and explain the concept of layers of protection. Understanding the zones and features of an entry control point is a key component of physical security. Lastly, this course will educate you on the different types of electronic security systems.
