--------
In this clip, Vlad started off speaking to TK Kirkland about old age being a gift, and he went on to speak about how Howard Hewett went on to publicly apologize to Jody Watley after 40 years following his viral VladTV interview. Vlad then pointed out that 40 years is a milestone that some people won't make it to, TK added that he celebrates being in his 60s. TK then spoke about navigating life like a minefield and caring about his health, which you can hear more about above.

Exercise is extremely important and managing your weight. I'm turning 40 this year and last year I lost 70 lbs. I look alot younger, my aches and pains are gone and my cholesterol and blood pressure dropped automatically. My wife told me I even stopped snoring. Edit: And one more thing, prior to losing the weight, I didn't scream body positivity and fat acceptance every five minutes..I took full accountability, didn't blame anyone but myself..got my butt up and lost the weight.

Another Vlad & TK jewel dropper 💎!! This is so true. I remember being 13-18 thinking 26 & 30 was old. Now I’m 38 thinking about how blessed it is to make it to this age and making it thru all the craziness I experienced. Getting older is a gift! Growing old is a gift. We need to stop age shaming. How lucky we are to live long, though quality of life is important. As long as you have that, what a blessing! The world needs to stop with unrealistic expectations. No matter how much I wish I was still young, I’m so grateful to make it to this stage and looking forward to more. So glad people are starting to speak up about this

For all of you people listening but not hearing, it's Vlad that actually has words of wisdom in this clip: he says "Everyone's always looking at the 20 year old who flipped some crypto and suddenly is a billionaire and so on and so fourth but that's not realistic. What's realistic is asking the 40's, 50's, and 60 year olds and saying how did you get here? What moves did you make?"

Lol I’m a early 90’s baby and I could remember my mother scorning when me when I interrupted her while she was talking to someone. I can hear her now “ If you don’t get yo ass outta here when grown folks talking, don’t you ever interrupt me when I’m talking.” It wasn’t the fact I interrupted, it was the way I did it. It taught me to politely insert myself into the conversation without being rude.

See, folks forget about us 80s babies. We are literally stuck right in between two worlds and it’s crazy!! I still respect my elders, they are still addressed as Mr, Ms, or Mrs if they are married. I can’t do all this new shit my Grandmother and Great Aunts who are in their 80s are still alive 🤔. “Yes ma’am and yes sir to those who deserve and those who we appreciate are signs of respect in my book 🤷🏽‍♂️. It just feels weird responding to your elders as you would your peers 🤔 but todays folks don’t even look at it that deep. I barely curse when talking to my parents unless I’m upset about something because it’s just a level of respect man.

Back in the day we were basically taught to fear our elders. Didn't matter if they were complete strangers, we treated them with respect. Nowadays you have little kids talking down to anyone. Something as simple as asking for a straw at McDonald's, there are no "please" or "thank you".

It doesn't matter how old you are but life is what you make it. If you have a positive outlook on life then you will have a great and satisfying life. I'm 32 I'm a adult I still don't cuss and drink in front of people older then me. These younger kids are beyond disrespectful.

Vlad, you gotta realize that some of your success is luck so don’t crap on folks that aren’t doing so well. You could easily have not gained an audience just because you’re a Liberace looking guy capitalizing on black culture 🤨

This is a very interesting topic . Because I personally never believed I was even going to live to be in my forties. As a black man in America it's almost unheard of because of violence or health that black people stereotypically have . But I've loved stories and history growing up and loved to learn what it took to live longer in life. And I always been around peoples way much older than my teens and 20's at the time. Like Babyboomers and Senior citizens. And I listened to what it was like in their time growing up. Is why I'm alive today even though a deadly pandemic. These youngsters die way before they even start knowing the importance of life at thier early teens or twenties or thirties. It's a dame shame wher are the parents at this is horrible and it has to stop. Parents or the parents and families need teach this young generation to appreciate and have respect for thier lives and the lives of others around them in life and animals too . Then society can change too . Not with celebrities , houses , clothes , cars , vanity items like jelwery , and other material thing and messing with guns and drugs.
