Back in the 60s’ & 70s’ TK was a capo in the mafia family that Goodfellas is based on and he got the contract to do the hit on Henry Hill when he snitched. He found out where Hill was hiding and showed up at the house to do the hit. But at the last minute decided not to, so instead he smoked a couple of blunts with Henry and they wrote the screenplay which would eventually become the movie Goodfellas.
