It makes more sense to have this be sung with the tones of despair running through it, rather than being a song of pure optimism like it was on the original 1994 soundtrack. I love Linda Eder and listen to her version all the time, but the subtle changes of this to be more sombre makes more sense in terms of the entire musical.

Amazing! A beautiful voice, loads of talent and easy on the eyes. I bet she´s going to go a long way! She made some interesting choices; Why would she almost everytime time shorten the last note in a sentence? I sat here with my mouth open, just mesmerized by her singing.
