If I didn't already have a tablet, this would be at the top of my list. I didn't get the OnePlus Pad from last year because it didn't have enough storage. This one checks all the boxes, aside from being LCD, but for $500, can't complain.

Just got mine, and I'm very happy with it overall. However the homescreen grid size, concentration and general customizability are not good. The latter is actually non-existent. It's so bad in fact, that I almost immediately installed Nova Launcher, and while it does break some of the immersion, animations and a couple of functions of the UI, it's still much better than OnePlus' launcher. OnePlus really needs to do much better in this regard. Another major gripe for me, is that utterly idiotic Google feed on left swipe. You need to be able to turn that annoying s**t off!!!

No you can't the pad doesn't have sim network connectivity. At max you can use what's up calling with wifi network

They put vapor chambers in the phones, and tablets are cooled through second hand thermal contact to the not so conductive thin metal body 🤣 I've just ran 3d mark, and Pad 2 is slower than Xiaomi 14 with the same SOC. Also in CPU load, it barely reaches 2GHz on all cores, and already hits thermal limit. I thought how I'm totally upgradin from Gen 2 to Gen 3, just to find out, it's just as bad 🤦

OnePlus doesn't have their own Desktop Mode, but it does support wired video output.

it might not be the best android tablet for this year but it won't be a bad choice for those people looking for a affordable tablet, especially for people already owned a oneplus phone, because it could share files/photos even data, it means you could still use your 5G on your tablet when you outside. the only bad spot for this tablet, is they only offer 3 years android system support

I just recieved my tablet, and havent gotten too much time to play with it yet. However, i noticed that google messages will only go to my tablet when my OP12 is connected and seitches my phone to sms from rcs. Is there a fix for this?

Yea having the same problem that's the only way I can get messages to come through. I had a Chromebook before and what they did was have the web version of messages pinned as a app to sync over all the messages it looks like we might have to do that here too.

Since I was forced in to blue tooth years ago. I look at everything from that angle. Apple or iOS. Connection on any device is almost exclusively done on Bluetooth. So what fracking difference does it make what device I'm doing that connection on.

It's pretty good. Got around 8 hours heavy use (no gaming though) yesterday, and it only went from 100-40%.

i have a huge problem which idk if its a "feature" or not, whenever i rotate or an app opens in a different way the refresh rate goes down to 60 even if i exit it, the 9nly way to reset to 120hz is 5o go to settings (currently set to high) select 60 and again high and works again, any1 with this????

I got this tab with free 80 w brick and free keyboard for 420. Best 420 I have spent by a mile. My one complaint is I have no idea how to power off the keyboard. My tablet loses 2 - 3 percent battery when on super power saving mode during the night . If I have connected it to the keyboard and not put on super power saving, then it drains like 6-7 percent

Oneplus messed up my order. I had the order placed with a keyboard. I wanted to add the stylo with added discount. In order to do that, customer support told me to cancel the order and re-order it with the stylo. When reordered it the transaction failed for some reason. The order didn’t come through although the amount was reserved. They told me to try again but the keyboard was no longer an option. In short: i no longer can get a deal with the keyboard included. I feel scammed and getting to a solution for this takes extremely long. The product is nice but the customer experience is horribly amateuristic. I previously purchased the OP Pad 1 without issues so this has been such a turnoff for me. So be advised.

After 3 days of using it I can tell the screen has touch responsiveness issues ! I`m gaming Marvel Contest of Champions and I get hammered cause it just randomly doesn't register touches ! I also have the first generation (meaning Oneplus pad) and this DOESN'T HAPPEN ! Neither on my phone. I hope this is not a display issue but a software issue that would soon be resolved .

IPS still has its place since it's more reliable and cheaper to repair. As for SIM network, that's on personal preference. If you do need it, then this isn't it. In fact, pretty much no Android tablets from Chinese smartphone brands that offers LTE/5G support.
