Also, if you know how to zip, if you go above the lakeside crystal cave and face east in a specific spot, you can glitch on the plateau 10 minutes into a run and get it, ranni will be there, you dont need the ring and best of all, ijy will survive

For a str user if you want to use it use stargazer talisman, three twinsage glinstone crown, godric great rune , marika seal ... and intelligence knot tear to get to intelligence ....

That sounds awful, just respec at that point. If you're a STR char just play a STR build, or str/faith, str/arcane. str/arcane is my favorite flavour of STR build atm its so strong to go blood or occult with it.

In the hands of a skilled player who doesn’t really need the healing bonuses from Blasphemous Blade then yeah I’d say this is the best GS in their hands, however the reason I think the BB is better overall is because it can nearly match Dark Moon in terms of DPS and can also be incredibly easy to use for anyone.

I tried to make a build/play with SONAF at lvl 150, and it was complete ass compared to DMGS. I rather have DMGS which costs no mana after activating, and be at 80 intelligence, which scales well with the sword and frees up your offhand for a staff to cast high powered spells. You don't need to 2H the sword for max damage from the weapon art ability.

@@Taiv_nelob I’ve used both a lot and the Dark Moon is better in some situations. And you use FP once to enable your blade’s skill attack, and then can hit multiple times with that, doing a lot of damage. It’s very efficient. Blasphemous Blade takes FP away every skill attack.

I think the Holy Moon Greatsword is far better than this, the moveset was so clean and smooth, the only flaw was the beams short range. The Dark Moon Greatsword for me is tie with Maliketh's Black Blade (I know is a colossal). And the DM Greatsword has the best projectiles from any souls.

D scaling in strength and dex B scaling in intelligence. So sadly it's mainly an intelligence weapon. But ruins or starscourge greatswords are good strength int weapons. Or even just cold infused strength weapons
