A good hack would be to paint the ends of your forks a high viz color so it’s even easier to pick it up on the camera. Seen orange but that’s a travesty on a green machine…maybe yellow!👍

I put Cameras on my 4066 right after i got it And installed one on my 3038. I love the thing. Couldn't live without them now .

I'll never have another cab tractor without them.

I added rearview mirrors to my 3033r. I angle one down to monitor my attachments and use the other to watch for traffic and backing up. I highly recommend them. I did have a camera but found the mirrors more effective.
@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
I've considered the mirrors, but ha e a lot of trees and I constantly hit limbs. I'd tear them off in short order.

Thank you for the review...I like seeing these especially when it is on something that I might/will use myself. Would definitely like to see how they hold up...maybe 3, 6, 9, & 12 month reviews to get all the seasons in.

I personally put a wire fork connector in my tractors seat switch to bypass the seat switch from shutting the tractor off. It helps greatly when warming the engine up. This camera system looks great, especially with adding more cameras down the road.
@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
I don't understand, I can literally crank my tractor up while standing outside. I don't have to be in the seat and it won't shut down if I leave it. Only if the tractor is in motion.

Thank you for this video. I am looking into a camera for my tractor as I have some bad neck issues and am frustrated with the rest attachments and decided to look at doing this

Great addition to the tractor for sure! This looks just like the last 3 I have bought for my camper. The problem I had with all of them was. After 3 months water got in the camera and shorted them out. So keep an eye on that. but shouldn't be a issue as your tractor is stored under cover.

That's a bummer, if that happens I'll definitely report it.

Thanks for this Andrew... I've been wanting to get something like this for my motorhome that is wireless. I would like an update after you give it a good going over and really put it to the test... Maybe you could mention to the company to instead of sending them out as a fixed this is what you get for mounts maybe make it an order option for any mount will ship with the order... Also I am with you on the larger screen, I would be happy with a 13" screen monitor because my old eyes aren't getting any better if you know what I mean...

Question would that get on your nerves with that camera being in front of you like that.. or would it be better having it over to the left or right side ..???
@GaHullbillyRanch2 жыл бұрын
Some bigger john deere tractors have a camera already mounted on the a post either on the left or right side(a post is the metal frame where the windshield is mounted to).

Happen to know if the monitor is weather proof? My tractor does not have a cab! Although below freezing with monitors can be an issue as well. It would be really nice while using the snowblower. It's 3 pt hitch and I have to drive backward. Not likely a great idea if it can't handle the monster and low temp
@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
I don't believe it is, I personally wouldn't have the monitor near weather like that.

My Kioti DK tractor is open station, I have the long forks and painted the tips Orange and still have to stand up some times to see them. I need to find a Water Proof monitor.. Cause I want to use it on My 4 Wheeler as a rear view Mirror. My Factory Polaris rear box is to high/wide to use normal Mirrors. Mike M.
@jimanon56812 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andrew great video. I have purchased a couple of things that you recommended and I have no gripes about them. Can you do playback on that monitoring screen or do you have to hook it up to a computer or take out the SD card to a computer? Oh another thing, in this heat how is your AC system with the closed cell foam installation working out. Cost, functionality, how much does AC run etc?
@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
No playback on screen. The AC has been working very well. It does run more, but hasn't struggled one bit to keep the house comfortable. Amazing that a 2 ton ac has kept this house very comfortable with almost two weeks of triple digit temperatures.
@hnorgard20022 жыл бұрын
I'm curious how the ac is doing in the house? With the spray foam are you finding yourself having to run the ac all the time with 100+ degree weather?
@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
It's doing very well! It does run more on these triple digit days but has kept the house very comfortable.

Now that you have been using these for a few months now, are they still working well? And do you have any noticeable “lag” in the video seeing they are wireless? Thanks in advance!
@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
No lag and working well. The back one will occasionally fog up once the tractor has ran for a very long time and the conditions are right. It gets very hot up there with low air flow.
@paulcochran17212 жыл бұрын
You showed that it flipped (mirrored) the image - Can you flip the image on only one screen (rear view) or does it flip both images? Great video!
@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
All settings are for individual screens. So flip one and leave the other as you desire. That's exactly how I have mine and it keeps everything correct.

@TKCL2 жыл бұрын
Well there's two ways of looking at it, yep another product placement video....... Or a project that I was already planning on doing, but wasn't going to spend the money on right now. When I get a offer for something that's useful, it's hard to turn it down because it does save me money and also inspires content. I can make the same old everyday videos on the channel, or use opportunities lije this to motivate a different project or content.
