A 4066 is more than enough tractor for 20 acres. I take care of almost 90 acres (including my neighbors) with mine. Glad you are enjoying the videos, congratulations on the tractor.

Well about that, the last two concrete trucks tore the yard up again 😩. More trucks coming next week too. I'm just going to have to stop filling ruts for a week or so. Grass/weeds are growing, so the yard has to be smooth at some point so I can mow.

I honestly think that the tractor could use a bigger bucket. A lot of John Deere’s bucket go to other tractors which confuses me. You can buy a 32 hp tractor and they use the same bucket on it that they do a 60hp. Good video
@TKCL3 жыл бұрын
Yes it probably could run a deeper or wider bucket. I can usually fill it in mid range 4 wheel drive or low range 2wd. It definitely has plenty of power/traction available
@gussoefje64303 жыл бұрын
@@TKCL what made you not decide to get the ag tires on your tractor. Too aggressive for you?
@TKCL3 жыл бұрын
Yes far too aggressive! I knew I'd be in the yard a lot and mowing. Not to mention R4 tires carry more weight, that's important for me with all the loader work I do.
@markb.12593 жыл бұрын
The storm shelter roof isn't that big... but what about adding a rain barrel on one of the back corners? Would eliminate soil erosion and provide you with some garden/flower water as needed. Did you already put the mobile home anchors on the shelter or decided it didn't need them?
@TKCL3 жыл бұрын
I've thought about doing a rain catch, but luckily we tend to get plenty of natural watering being wet Florida. I have yet to put the anchors on, that'll be the last thing. I can just pull some of that rock back to put them in.

@TKCL3 жыл бұрын
Go ahead and add any of the hydraulic extras at the factory, it's cheaper and less aggravating than adding them after the fact. As far as accessories like mirrors, lights ect Add add those aftermarket, because it's cheaper and easy to do. I highly recommend R4 tires, a loader and go ahead and get the rear tires filled with fluid
