Hello, I know it is the day be for the next topic Tuesday so I totally understand if this one doesn’t make it. I’m 17 and a third degree black belt + instructor at my local taekwondo school and have been doing taekwondo/martial arts for a large portion of my life. When I was younger I’d always see those at my taekwondo school do self defense and demo (demonstration) classes. I’m still very interested and curious about both of these things and would love to do them. The issue is our school doesn’t do either of these classes anymore and I feel obliged to stay due to my instructor role. How could I still learn some of these things while continuing to be an instructor at my tkd school? Is it even worth pursuing? I know these are difficult and also somewhat specific questions so I really appreciate just hearing your thoughts. Thank you so much for your work, I really have been enjoying your videos.

Hello! My name is Arthur, i am a 21 years old music student, and i live in working with music and etc. But, on the last few months, i've been so much interested in the idea of learning a martial art, especially taekwondo. However, I am afraid of the risks involving my hands (that's one of the reasons that got me on taekwondo). Do you think it's too dangerous? Is it possible to learn without breaking my fingers? Hahahaha

Practice increasing density and tensile strength in your body. You can do that by practicing Kung Fu in conjunction with other martial arts.

Next Topic Tuesday: Have you watched Cobra Kai? If so, what are your thoughts? Has the show brought in more students into TKD?
@Vinnay943 ай бұрын
@@MaharlikaAWA While Cobra Kai is TSD, I see some TKD as well, or does TSD have Tornado Kicks and 540 Heel Kicks too? Overall, most people who aren't familiar with Karate generally perceive TKD as Karate (they're not entirely wrong) due to the Gi (Dobok) and Dojang layout. So I'd imagine kids and adults would want to get into some form of Martial Art after watching Cobra Kai. Heck, Bruce Lee who didn't necessarily train Karate inspired many to take up Martial Arts including Karate, TSD/TKD etc.
