First I want to thank you sir for these amazing tutorials. Second I wanted to share my experience on mac: - The menu bar on mac was pre-set for the GUI before I added my own. It had 'File' 'Options' 'Window'... with basic commands that mostly did nothing like: Delete, Save ...etc - However, when I added menus on the code it replaced the pre-set menus and basically had full control over the commands. Great! - The main bold menu was pre-set to say 'Python' and didn't change. I guess it still consider the GUI to be Python window which makes sense but how do we change it to be the GUI's name: 'Diary'? - Major problem occurred when I tried to apply the font size to the Text widget. The text entry box changed size with the font where larger fonts caused the box to expand, even outside the screen frame!! Smaller fonts shrunk the box and left empty spaces between widgets! I tried to solve it by initiating the weight and height of the Text widget, didn't work!

Thanks for letting us know! IIRC, the only way to really fix this is to package the script as a mac application. You can do this with something like cx_freeze (which I go over in the book) or PyInstaller. Not sure what to suggest with the Text widget.
