I read that the guy who directs The Boys says that Homelander would win because he has no restrictions in a fight and won't hesitate to use cheap moves like how a street fighter would go. I however disagree with that BS because Superman has 20x, if not 100x more experience in fights compared to him. Superman faced against literal gods and reality altering beings, while Homelander is legit a bully calling himself a hero. If we had a Superman who has no real moral code, then he'd kill Homelander in less than a minute, let alone 30 seconds of he's lucky to survive. And we all can agree on that tbh, so I find that director to on some drugs for that lie.

You’d only need a cloud or mass one kilometre across positioned right, to emulate an eclipse , homelander can do space and fights dirty what makes you think he wouldn’t block out the sun over wherever they are , before atomising kryptonite into the atmosphere , or position a red filter or lenses , or hold onto Lois and tell superman to snap his own neck or she dies which he would probably just do no questions, he has the mind of a child.

Not to mention how Clark has multiple suits to protect him from kryptonite and an army of robots, which he could easily access with the same amount of prep time. If he threatened Lois, all he’d do is forfeit his chance to walk again because after Clark rescues her with his far faster super speed, he’d beat him into a bloody mess. Homelander wouldn’t start out fighting dirty because of his overconfidence, which is why he was overwhelmed by Soldier Boy, Billy, and Hughie. Even assuming they had equal stats (Because Clark is superior in every aspect) Clark is much smarter and a better fighter, so he would just block or counter anything Homelander throws at him. Homelander wouldn’t be strategizing to defeat his foe, he’d be having a mental breakdown because he can’t defeat him easily.

He’d attack mid sentence going for the weak spots, and we’ve seen a thousand examples of people with *no* superspeed kidnapping Lois and making superman comply, so far he has crippled or beaten to a bloody pulp none of them, they get arrested or imprisoned , all of that aside, again we have seen people with no superspeed or confirmedly slower speeds than superman regularly beat him to the draw, or contend with him in a fight, you can’t punch as hard as you can lift , we’ve seen superman overwhelmed by para demons and other fodder, whom *cannot* casually punch through a human wearing body armour, as we saw hughie alone do, and we can assume soldier boy and butcher are stronger , besides that he overpowered them when he tried and it was no issue…
