I feel she was trying to be a bit of to overly with that style like Lisa, Kelis, and all those other great women who had that unique eclectic creative spunky style. We saw that sh*t 😂🔥. She the only woman there that was pretty and attractive though, I will give her that. So I get why chili said it was easy to glam her up. The bantu knots still was a Lisa style even though black women been wearing that but Lisa did where her hair in Bantu knots with a bang in the front 😂. None of these girls didn’t have a IT factor which I understand why no labels scouted them at all or talent scouts in the acting business or anything. It looked very dusty. I’m sorry but I felt what chili was saying in that truck ride about her. Like she needed to remove that mowhawk. Like she just didn’t have that pretty girl Hollywood look or anything; so that’s why they wanted to glam her up more. TLC was tomboys but they were pretty, spunky, sultry & and conventionally attractive. Thank god this show wasn’t about them replacing Lisa. Lil’Mama during that 2013 run was the only one who fit right in with them in ways. I know she didn’t have proper breathe control but she the only one who could’ve been a replacement, she was naturally talented and reminded them of Lisa in a genuine manner; they didn’t take offense or felt weird around her. Even though it was just for the movie. Not to replace Lisa but she could’ve been a fill in during touring with them throughout the years on/off.
