You can get bed bugs from warehouses that send new stuff. Key is to check everything first before bringing it in your home. Than once in your home cover mattresses and pillows in asthma/bed bug covers. I never have bought used mattresses but I’ve bought second hand furniture many times. But my grandparents never in their lives bought new anything they were hoarders. And they never got bedbugs I believe because they did fumigate inside and outside grounds 3-4 times a year. But even thrifting we can bring bugs home just need to check everything first and wash first.

I met this woman on her way to JFK on the subway. She asked me for directions and we started talking. I paid for something to eat and some coffee for the both of us once we got to JFK. I remember that we had some free time to spend and I told her I was going to have some coffee. She initially said no as she did not want to pay for it, so I said that I was going to pay and she therefore stayed at the coffee place at the airport with me. I did feel a bit sorry for her but I honestly do not care about money when it comes to food. I remember she told me she wanted to be an actress and was doing auditions...
