This is my favorite part of a cherished album. It always feels so autumnal. This was brilliant. I listen to this and then want to cry because music has declined so precipitously. @@tlcdc60 You are welcome Sir! To say I enjoyed it would be an understatement!! How did you synchronise everything so perfectly when it looks like you were all in different places? The adding of the young ladies backing vocals at 8:12 was inspirational. Loved the way you all went for it from 10:33 until the end as if seven years of hard work was done and it was party time! Everyone gave off their best and were enjoying themselves but your bass player gave a masterclass with all the little fills a little bit like the great Mr. Joe Osborn himself! He really made that bass sing!! Not forgetting your good self giving it one hell of a drive on the drums. Brilliant! Erm, any chance of you guys doing Firth of Fifth any time soon?
@tlcdc606 ай бұрын
@@andrewparkes6061 Thanks for the kind words. Technology can sometimes be very helpful. I’m in the U.S. and the rest are in Buenos Aires. I actually did the drums 7 years ago. It just took time for the others to get time to do their parts and put all of it together. And, yes I live when Lucila comes in with her backing vocals. Gives it a nice angelic vibe. As for the ending, I thought they would have faded it out long before I started making a bunch of noise…… We have a few other tunes in the works. Firth Of Fifth isn’t on the list at the moment but, you never know.

One of the most under-rated Genesis numbers, and imagined as I always did, by windswept winter scenes, I had parents that lived near Hindhead in Surrey, at Christmas I would walk over Hindhead Common, and this always was playing in the background; sadly they are both gone now, so when I hear this memories of those times flood back. Sad but beautiful.
