I’d be just as aggravated as them about the slur, but in countries like Mexico you have to be very careful to avoid confrontation. They were rightfully angry, but especially as Americans they really should’ve brushed it off and said nothing; even the daughter stating that she wanted to punch that guy in the face, could’ve escalated that situation quickly. In certain countries & even many areas of the U.S., there are ruthless people that live in a culture of zero morals and would think nothing of seriously hurting or even killing someone at random over nothing. It’s a sad reality, though you have to be street smart and just mind your own sometimes, even when provoked.

I did think Kenny was complaining too much at first, but then when I saw that you have to grab a bucket to flush the water I was on his side lol. I wouldn't mind using the tip of my foot to open the lid to pee but I ain't touching some bucket that everyone else touched in there while using the restroom. As someone with OCD I just couldn't. If they had a sink and soap or hand sanitizer that'd make it less gross but I didn't see either of those two. And I'd sure love it if someone walked by me and said that, I'd introduce my knee to their face. 🙃

I really like this couple, but Kenny has to realize he is not in the States. There are a lot of cultures who feel strange about public displays of affection, gay or straight. I suspect the passerby who said something derogatory, would have said 'slut, or whore' if they were a straight couple, if they are are being overly affectionate in a town where that is not the norm. Everyone should be accepting, but if you are in another country/culture where you do not speak the language, learn to read a room.

I find the American guys approach to Mexican culture highly offensive. He needs to keep in mind he isn’t in America, he’s in México. For that reason alone, life styles and cultures are different. Yes, México and the USA are geographically close, but the cultures are WAY different.
