Do you have to discover the instance entrance before you can queue for it in the dungeon finder in cata?

I'm actually not sure on that one but I didn't think LFR was being brought in with Cata Classic. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

8 healers in first phase, is it really necessary to have a healer for each DPS?

You can drop one, but on Heroic it's very stressful on healers in P1 with the amount of damage and spreading properly. It might turn out to be overkill but drop healing at your own risk
