So this is a 16 minute ad for a $99 course....

yes and I should have probably charged way more for the course, I have to put many hours into developing this stuff. No worries if it isn't for you though. Having some people buy these courses helps buy time to put out more free stuff on KZbin which I will be doing a lot more of this year!

If I have some software programming skills / plc skills already(familiar with string manipulation, masking etc ...) and I'm starting with crestron should I go straight to C# or not?

Good question. On 4 series processors, you can program in simpl# pro using something like visual studio 2019 community edition and get the Crestron libraries from nuget. Object Oriented programming is a lot more complex though overall to learn. Also note there are two ways to do simpl# (c#) - as libraries in simple programs (with simpl+ wrappers as the interface), or as a full program - simpl# pro where you compile in visual studio and load directly to the processor...no simpl or simply+ required. Hope that is somewhat helpful but lots to explain for a comment...

@@ProAVSchool I am interested in the last option compiling on visual studio and dumping the code to the processor but do you think I should go step by step and do simpl, simpl+ then simpl# or I should jump to simpl# ( I am not an expert in C# but I am pretty familiar with OOP). I checked the CH5 too for UI pretty cool!
