Scar is the only bad guy in this scene. The hyenas, on the other hand, are rightfully planning to rise up against Mufasa's apartheid politics that forces them to live in a barren wasteland with barely any food and water. But somehow the movie is able to make people think that the hyenas are evil for wanting to have enough to eat.

So not only the language is different in the dub versions, but some (for example the french and turkish) also seem to have different instrumentation in the music which is more fitting to the local culture. Also in some dubs it seems that there are only men singing though in most of them it is a mixed choir with both male and female singers. Interesting.
