This was one of my favorite designer pickups of the year, though I went HEAVY on the niche trigger this year because I got access to a lot of deals and a lot of amazing stuff. Even though this released in 2018, I got a killer deal in about early April before the mad rush on this fragrance and got a full 120 ml bottle for like $45 from FragranceX, it was insane. I still haven't tried Tuxedo, but I've tried the Alexandria, DUA, and Happyland equivalents of the YSL original and Moustache EDP beats them all in my view. It's just as you describe, man: sweet and vanillic, yet a bit of a fresh spicy, and a good benzoin and ambery resinousness...very classy and suave overall and I really enjoy it.

I get about 4 to 5 hrs longevity and it sits very close to the skin after about 2 hrs. I like it, but it's definitely not a beast and a little over hyped to me. I perfer Mercedes Benz Club Black to Rochas Moustache. Club Black is a BEAST.

I got a 5ml sample and loved it straight away. Bought myself a 75ml bottle for about £35 ($45 ish) and consider it money well spent. Lovely fragrance and very nice presentation too.

I own both and would say this is 80/85 % the same to YSL'S Tux..infact I like Rochas moustache edp a bit better as on my skin I get more creamy vanilla in the dry down that I prefer with Tuxedo goes more warm woods..

My Scent of The Day. Your review was point on. I think this is a great date night and snuggle fragrance. Great for the office as well. Smells more mature and classy. I don't see really young guys rocking this. I think I paid $47 for 75 ML at Fragrancex. Well worth it.

your description of this fragrance and the phases it goes through is quite spot on... I picked up a gift set of this for under $40 that came with the large bottle, shower gel and after shave... Lucky for me it's all over the place where I live and it is not really chased... next time I go where I pick them up, I'm going for 2 additional gift sets... the smell is pretty unique... wonderful creaminess...

Great review. Your thoughts parallel mine. Gorgeous fragrance and has become a top pick in my rotation. Like yourself, I get the vanilla and patchouli on the dry down which I love. 6-8 hrs on skin.

Really nice fragrance, and like yourself, I have no clue what Tuxedo smells like. Picked up a 75ml for £28 ($35-40) here in the UK, and then found a 125ml giftset on ebay for £50 ($65) which I snapped up, too.

I def wouldn't wanna pick either. But if I absolutely had to, I would say Mustache EDP is better and just edges it out. It's just so classy and luxurious and smells a bit more refined and expensive which puts it a slightly higher escalon. But love MBCB as well.

to me it's a refined and elegant version of Zadig & Voltaire this is him. the rose smooths everything out in Rochas Moustache. Zadig has the incense that gives the smokiness, more aggressive. love them both though.

I value your reviews. They are always very straightforward, unpretentious and honest. I just got this and while I like the scent. It kinda reminds me of Encre Noire A La Extreme. However that fragrance had major longevity problems and I read some poor reviews about this one's longevity too. I hope they're wrong. Five six hours is good enough for me.

Idk how it's possible I didn't come across you until a week ago on KZbin. Picked up fragrances as a hobby 2 yrs ago besides Mom getting me whatever the hottest designer fragrance was at Macy's each year for Christmas growing up. Super knowledgeable, down to Earth, I could tell immediately you know your shit and I trust your advice. I have been binge watched damn near all of your videos and will continue to finish them all up. It's refreshing to not have the usuals. Can't stand Jeremy fragrance, Ashton isn't funny and passive-aggressive pompous, don't like the bald guy with glasses bc...I don't trust him. You've turned me on to alot of frags that no one else has and damn near everything is on my list to buy. Just picked up Ferragamo Blu. This is an interesting one for me. I got this one last year. It smells super good off the atomizer. However, off of my skin - the pink pepper note is too strong and carries the fragrance in the wrong direction for me. That being said, it is a compliment magnet and its unique for my 40-bottle collection. If I ever run out, I probably would not buy it again.

I got this today i made the mistake most ppl make and get the other moustache the eau de toilette ..the smell of that is more like the original christian dior eau sauvage to my noes any way ..but this arrived for at the works office and the place went wild the ladies all loved the smell and the men in the office asked me where on hell did i get that from so i sent then the link to notino the only place near me in uk that had it in stock ..this is hands down one of the best smelling colognes i have and i have creed aventus that aint cheap absoultley fantastic stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯♥
