I ❤your videos on Tunisian Crochet I’ve always wanted to try it and the videos out there are to complicated. I watched Flawsome Crochet w/Marti of her top 10 channels to watch and suggested your channel. So I watched several of your videos and when I got to this one I loved the earwarmer/headband. I’m almost finished the band. Thank you so much for your videos. you inspired me to get started with a regular clover bamboo crochet hook. Thank you for loving this craft. I’m 71 years old retired and been crocheting since I’m 16 years old. Always looking for something new to try. Can’t stop watching your videos.

Oh Toni. Thank goodness your here. I have been struggling for days on picking up the 4th tentacle but I have it now. I was picking up upside down, back to front etc any which way but the right way. Now I can quite happily carry on, I have had so many wanting one of these. Going to do a couple more then make myself another what I call throw around ready for the winter. I hope you have another book on it’s way. Love and hugs xxxx

I love Tunisian crochet, it works you fast and looks so beautiful! Closest to knitting without learning to knit, for crocheters. You are a great instructor. Love this design

This was so great! What a wonderful way to learn Tunisian crochet, and very forgiving of beginners mistakes, with a really cute final product! Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I ended up pulling out and redoing my first braid strand, because it was so wonky (of course, it was my first as I was learning) so that it would better match the other braid strands. I was pretty intimidated, not only of Tunisian crochet, but of crochet in general (I'm a knitter, but crochet has always been confusing for me). I'm so delighted I made my first Tunisian crochet project, that it is so cute, thanks to your excellent video instruction! You are the featured designer right now for the Eat Sleep Knit yarnathon group, and I'm happy that I can now successfully work on more of your projects for this quarter. Thank you so much Toni!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Very refreshing. I did not have to fast forward through your video. You got right to the point and did not need to point, repeat, go into the stitch 4 times, repeat, restart, repeat, restart, lol... just showed us how, told us how to work the stitch, going to make one tonight. Wonderful tutorial no irritating background music, very easy to listen to and understand. As mom would say "You go"

Christine Nolan Did you make this ear warmer yet? If so, how long did you make the four bands? The lady is pretty specific that 25” roughly is for the average head. I’ve made a few ear warmers before, but they were standard crocheted ear warmers. No braiding. I watched another video for a braided ear warmer. Made completely different from this one, and she started off with 70 single chains, and the braiding took several inches off of the length. I guess with the ear warmer in this video, you can measure the first braid around your head as it’s being made to see that it initially will go around your head. But, how do you know how much longer to make it, when you don’t know how much of the length is going to be taken off due to the braiding?

I made one of these for my daughter. And one for me. Quick and easy and fun. Thanks for the pattern tutorial. Request: I would love to see a review of the new chiaogoo interchangeable Tunisian hooks. Or better yet, a comparison review of the various Tunisian interchangeable sets out there. I bought the Denise set after seeing your review. I would love to know how these wooden sets compare. I love chiaogoo interchangeable knitting needles. I’m curious to know how their interchangeable crochet hooks work.

I’ve done the “afghan stitch” for 50 years, but then I found out this was really Tunisian Crochet. I’m now getting back into this crochet technique and found this channel. When I saw your short on this, I thought it was a belt. I now see it’s not, but I’m going to try to use this pattern to make a belt by using a lighter weight yarn and fewer stitches. Think that will work?
