Just got a new one in the box! I bought property that had an 1850s cold mining town on it. The town burned down twice, and the moved it a block away in 1865. We found a flintlock pistol with a minelab gold bug. Can't wait to see what this will reveal. I have 31 acres to detect. I'll be using a GPZ700, E Trac and the Mt 808. My excavator will be a nice addition also

@@rickyrusselburgusa8644 You know, I haven't used it yet. I'm so busy with work, and when I get time off, I rest. I'm recovering from a knee injury, about 98% now, but I need to get caught up with work and a winter nest egg. The IRS wiped out my winter stores. Caldor fire and cancer are costly, so no rest for the wicked, and the righteous don't need any rest apparently lol. Getting old aint for sissy's for sure. I hope Trump can make life better these twilight days left. I'm making the best of it. I just picked up the manticore, and that has helped sort through the iron trash. I really want to take the GPZ 7000 to some cleaner gold areas and get the stuff missed.

the manual says to perform the ground balance procedure in the NO-AUTO position. The AUTOMATIC THRESHOLD may be returned to AUTO once GROUND BALANCE is completed.

The instructions with mine says you put the auto / no auto switch in auto, set the Ground Balance and Signal balance knobs in normal range, then turn it on without pressing the button on the handle. Why do you say to press the button when you turn the detector on?

You mention that you should remove metal from yourself while using the detector. I have an orthopedic implant in my shoulder. Is that a dealbreaker?

your orthopaedic implant will not be detected by the machine, as mentioned in this video, the device will detect only Large size objects but for your surety and best result better to remove the watch, belt, steel toe shoes, cell phones

I have herd of that one but this is the first time that I have seen it. But he is right a whites MXT finds things 48 inches deep that's the length of a spade shovel,... those limey's with their mine-labs hate that one.
