Still the best ultra-low latency wireless headphones for musicians on the market today (April 24, 2024)... great work, AIAIAI team!

been loving mine for a year - so much so in fact that I had to save up and get the UNIT-4. If you were wondering, yes - they kick easily as much ass.

Is the noise floor from the wireless transmitter got any better ? that was a bit bummer for me but everything else was great.

Is this good to use for music or gaming or just for DJ use purpose

I like them for the most part, but the following things cause friction in my workflow: - Having to hold each piece for 3+ seconds to turn them on and off is annoying. There should be an option for 0.5 seconds or instant for people who just use them in their studio. Wish it was a switch instead. - The button on the battery is tiny and hard to press - The USB charge plug on the headphone band is hard to access and you have to remove the left ear cup to plug in a cable easily. Other than that they sound good and are fairly comfortable.

If only there was a version of these with decent ANC.

Also, If you ever look to expand this product towards gamers and office work, a proper wireless microphone attachment would make this headphone much more attractive to those looking for an all-in-1 wireless solution.

Just got randomly recommended this. Are there plans to have wireless open back headphones? It is hard finding anything wireless with open back style. Thanks

In case this helps: maybe look into wireless for stage performance. I can't see a reason why you couldn't just plug into the receiver pack you'll have on your body. I have no idea of the cost, probably at least four or five times buying these cans.

@@buxycat I tried Bluetooth adapters (which don't need a cable), but the range/quality is not that great. Trying out one last time with the Grado gw100x, then I am done since everything else is much more expensive

@@Chris3s I feel your pain; I have Grado SR325is. If you're coming from an audiophile world into music production world, then I suggest you understand what sound colourisation is, why you want it with home listening at consumption level and why you don't want colourisation in studio monitoring gear at production level. I hate to tell you this but you're barking up the wrong tree, trying to use your Grados for studio monitoring: they're not the right tool for the job. They have colouration (which gives them the famous Grado sound). I think you've got an aptx low latency codec in your cans: for music wireless listening I have a Fiio BTR5 with Creative BTW3 dongle, This gets me down to about 40ms, with aptx low latency. This is not low enough. I could get zero latency with my Grados by just plugging them into my MacBook (well, I'd use my Fiio as an off board USB-C DAC). I'd save myself £300, by just having the inconvenience of a big thick cable. But they still wouldn't be the right tool for the job, because colouration. If I mix on my Grados, my mix is going to sound awful to anyone not using Grado's which is pretty much 99.99% of the population. Best of luck, you've got some research to do and thinking to do.

I'm just getting into this world, came across Taetro demoing some equipment I was interested in, I always wondered what the cool looking headphones he had were. If I buy these (I probably will), then I've spent more on my headphones than I have on the Akai APC64 I have arriving in a few days. That's a very "me" thing to do, take a peak in my headphone drawer!

16ms sounds like way too much. I've found 10ms difficult when trying to play guitar along with fast backing tracks.
