With 62 years old and still enjoying trackdays though I’m not the fastest. The atmosphere/ friendsh on the paddock, the respect on track, I love it. It makers me a better rider in traffic as well. Best regards from the Netherlands!

I'm a new rider and got my road license 10 months ago at the age of 61. I did a lot of training (vision, throttle control, body position, braking, etc) at legal speeds on the road over the winter and it really helped prepare me for the track. After 9 track days this season (4 with instruction), I'm planning on getting my racing license next season. In the two clubs I'm in, there are way faster riders who are older than me. As Simon Crafar says, unless you are an elite racer, it's all in your head.

Would have been funny if he came out with his broken glasses on and used championie as a example 😂. I enjoyed watching nice advice ❤

Great tuition ❤😊 I think I did a 54.3 back in 98 on my 916SP when I won the emra road stock championship 😊

Should be doing 57s on a s1000rr. I was doing 55.6 on a old k1 gsxr1000 in 2004

Never too old to race! Ma cousins back at it after 25 years, Howard Selby still at it up here in the classic Superbikes and must be well into his 60's. Half the sidecar boys look like they need zimmer frames... Hate sidecars by the way, nightmare going out after them as inevitably one would go bang and dump its oil all over the place.

Hey Taylor,, ask your dad where he DID wreck a pair of his boots!! I've got a pair of his old race boots that I bought at a fund raising for a bike racer that sadly lost his life at Eastfortune track some 30 yrs ago! It could have been Hungary not sure but the foot peg punctured the sole! Did it break his ankle ? Not sure, cheers mate !
