I have my "helpful tip" videos coming out soon, and the one on "feel/groove" will hopefully help you with the 32-note section. For now, I would recommend and pulse to the 8th-note and mark in your part where all the quarter-notes pulses are in those sections. Hopefully, that'll help! Best of luck on your preparation!!

Really enjoying these recordings, any advice on software or apps that could slow it down? Perhaps to be played at 1/2 speed.

@@chro. It does but anything slower then .75 gets distorted and hard to follow. Looking for a clean recording.

If you go to the “gear icon” (top right on a phone, or bottom right on a computer) you can select “playback speed” and adjust it as you need. Hope that helps!

Yamaha 5" x 14" CRS Series with Evans Strata Staccato 1000 on top and Evans Orchestra 200 Snare Side. Best of luck on your auditions!!
