We need a YMCA! More things for kids and families to do. With as much as I pay in property taxes every year, I would think these updates would move quicker. Not to mention 500,00 dollar+ houses being built in south temple and all we have to shop at is an old Walmart and small HEB they both need to be heavily remodeled or or torn down and rebuilt. The mall needs to be torn down there is no saving it! We also need some nice condos/townhomes for purchase.

I like most of the plan but not the cutting off 5th street between Backland and Marlandwood roads as I feel it focus too much on the flow to downtown. I use 5th street to by pass much of the traffic on 31st to get to SAMs and Lowes. I was really looking forward to the Azalea expansion to 5th Street. I definitely like the linkage to 1st street as I would use that when traveling north of the loop. But for most of my travel, I would like to keep south 5th street the same.

Please don't cut off 5th Street like that. It's going to cause more issues. The branch to 1st st is fine just continue 5th as it currently is.

Tear down the mall and put in a Costco. Or maybe a large Grocery store that is not HEB or Walmart.
