TmezTv Goes Down Under To Eastern Creek Speedway Racing Midgets in AUSTRALIA

Today I head across the country on three plane flights 20 hours to Sydney Australia, where we meet up with the Jordan brothers and race the Jordan Bro’s Esslinger Midget at Eastern Creek Speedway! The newly built Eastern Creek Speedway just built here in Sydney. We get the seat in the car and head to the track where I’ll figure out the new format of Australian Speed Car racing and pick up a win in the heat race #1 and run second in the second heat race We lead a bunch of laps in the Main event and put the Esslinger bullet on the podium running second at the end of the night!!

I was in the crowd that night, sitting on turn 3. I thought turn 3 was bad on the night but the cushion on 1 & 2 looked worse from your footage. There was some big stacks in the 410's on turn 1 & 2. We're well overdue for more than one lousy Speedway, in a City of 5 million people. And a quarter mile track just isn't good enough either. When I was young, Sydney had a population of 3 million, with 3 Speedway and one of them was the old Sydney Showground Speedway, was a one third mile. God I miss the place.

Just me talkin’, but I would say breaking off all the radiator mounts and ripping a motor mount in two would indicate the track was a “little” rough. Great run man, you had ‘‘em covered until getting held up at the end. Now I understand the lack of a cushion on the outside of Eastern Creek and why the track is closed this year. It never seems to get to a better week to week or daylight to dark. It might be fun for the setup wizards but it we see a 1 and 1/4 grove race.

What's the deal down there Thomas seems like a pretty nice place but the track is rougher than a plowed field is that how they normally have the track Or do they not know how to prepare a track did they water it too much no sheep's foot I see it's a new track did it just open Or have they been racing on it all season can't believe how rough it is after night on that track you have to go back to the shop and check every nut and Bolt on the car and make sure everything's in good shape good luck next week

they've been having drainage issues under the track ever since it got built 2 years ago where the water would just keep coming back up to the top of the surface, idk if they have gotten it fixed yet

@@tmezTv That would definitely explain. The rough track conditions. If you get the opportunity. Maybe. You could explain how you set a car up for a track that's in that kind of shape. I think people would find that very, very interesting. Also, the condition of driver has to be in physically. The workout on the arms and the upper body. The strength you have to have. Is tremendous? When a track is in that kind of condition. You can get on your head very quick. And take one hell of a ride. That was the type of track conditions you usually see back here in the United States. In early spring races, I still have? A T- shirt That has USAC No wings just ruts and guts Like I said, about good luck next week.
