Yup, I was so disheartened on realizing Drew or any other than the club never once sang in the whole season. I was so excited and hopeful each time that maybe they would in the coming episode but before I knew it the season just ended T-T

But the parting was heart wrecking, to see the best buddies of the show just lashing out at one another in just a spare of the two finale episodes. Definitely not the ending I imagined for the little arc. I feel bad 'bout the cheating part, to realize that the person you adored hid that your girlfriend is cheating on ya, must have been so hard on Drew. And the blaming part in ep-10, I felt struck at how Jake just straight up accused Jomies of something so cruel with no second thought, gave a kinda subtle hint that maybe Jake saw Drew as a sick bully before his best friend? The audio wasn't even their fault, they were just looking out for their friend from what they observed from afar, the Music club does the exact same by calling them names and encouraging Jake to end things with them indirectly without ever understanding Jake and Drew's special bond. I didn't see the audio scene as manipulation as many seem to speculate; for me, it was just friends looking after one based on their knowledge. Drew isn't the nicest in the show but he definitely wholeheartedly cared for Jake, he was like his special person he dared to protect and fight the whole world for! Sure, he lacked ways to communicate, but Jake wasn't any better in that aspect either. The only difference is we know Jake's past while Drew's still arbitrary. Sorry for the long para, I tend to get carried away easily.

He wasn't always the bad guy in Jake's story. A villain in one's story may be the hero in another's. Drew started out as a great friend, protecting him from that bully guy so I personally don't think it's right to paint him as a complete bad guy. Thank you so much

One of my fav scenes as well I put it there on purpose ;) I know, Thanks for liking it regardless of my preference. *Fun fact* : I imagined the same. My initial idea was to have Jake sing the song and ask for a second chance, but reanimating just the first scene made me realize how boring and unmotivating it was for me to copy og Jake's actions to my Jake's model. So, I ended up changing it. However, I'm thinking of making a Jake version as well, since now that I have the base animation made beforehand; I might be able to create a Jake version with minimal touches. _No promises_ though, it will depend on how complex the process will be.
