Westlife, an Irish pop ensemble established in Dublin in 1998, consists of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was part of the group until 2004. Initially active for 14 years, they disbanded in 2012 and reunited in 2018.
With 11 number-one albums, 16 number-one singles, and 34 top-fifty singles in Ireland, Westlife boasts over 55 million record sales and holds four Guinness World Records. Their honors encompass a World Music Award, two Brit Awards, four MTV Awards, and four Record of the Year Awards.
Releasing twelve studio albums - four as a quintet and eight as a quartet - they gained prominence through their eponymous debut (1999), followed by Coast to Coast (2000), World of Our Own (2001), and Turnaround (2003). Post McFadden's departure, they launched cover albums ...Allow Us to Be Frank (2004) and The Love Album (2006), along with Face to Face (2005), Back Home (2007), Where We Are (2009), and Gravity (2010), preceding an eight-year hiatus.
Following their 2018 reunion, the group released the studio albums Spectrum (2019) and Wild Dreams (2021).
