It surprised me too when I found out that there are people who only see eating as a means to stay alive and not as a source of enjoyment or something to look forward to (EDs notwithstanding). Like some people find eating cumbersome, which was unfathomable to me. But them I realized I feel that same way about sleeping 😂

I took a life drawing class in college, the guy was probably in his 50s, he brought a purple sheet and pillow to every class. I ran into that man EVERYWHERE! He was a waiter at my table at a wedding, he was on my fucking plane, wearing a Winnie the Pooh sweatshirt. It was a nightmare.

Two things - first, a 2 minute voice message is nothing 😂 My friend and I lived in a 13 hour time difference and could rarely phone. So instead we would send 20 minute voice messages. I would listen on the way to work and reply on my way home and vice versa. It got real bad at times hahaha 😂 Second - the opening commercial parade of the Tour de France has so many fruit shaped vehicles, Mamrie you'd love it 😂 ever seen a strawberry, sandwich or even picnic basket shaped vehicle driving around the French Alpes?! Worth a Google 😂

I am an animation major and where i go to college they require 3+ semesters of drawing live models. I am only on my 1st semester of it but so far its not as weird as you might think? Since our model is a part time student paid by the college to model for these classes i feel a little less awkward? Although it is still kinda weird

Mamrie! Just wanted to say that regarding nude modeling, you as a model do pretty much whatever you feel comfortable with. That is in a mental and physical sense too. There is a general framework for the class and the sketch time, the theme maybe , but you absolutely choose the poses and the temperature ideally is sort of monitored accordingly to your comfort. There is drawing class etiquette and if that is not respected, then the class and the teacher can be deemed unprofessional or sketchy!

As one of those people who would prefer a meal replacement meal over actual food, my source of this was having really really bad stomach issues from extreme anxiety and other health issues, so now my brain associates eating with a scary time because I used to eat and immediately be sick for hours. And also if I could change how my brain thinks I woulllddd! I’ve lost a lot of weight (I was already only 120, now I’m closer to 100 ((I’m 5’1)), I miss the enjoyment in good food and getting cravings for a favorite. Currently trying to change my habits, but I normally eat one meal a day simply because I forget that my body needs food to function. Also I would never suggest someone to eat like me because I still feel miserable, it’s just scary to eat on top of not feeling great after eating
@andhisband Жыл бұрын
I'm not a diet professional, but if you're only eating one meal per day, that could explain why you're losing so much weight. It's called _intermittent fasting_ and people do it to drop the pounds. It works because the short-term fast boosts your metabolism. If you haven't described your eating habits to your doctor, you should.
@Emily_Ora Жыл бұрын
@@andhisband Oh I 100% know that’s why I’m losing the weight. And I do know it would basically qualify as intermittent fasting, that’s crossed my minds quite a few times. It’s not something I go out of my way to choose to do, it’ll be like 4pm and I’ll be in the middle of doing something and remember I haven’t eaten. I just don’t really have that hunger feeling as much as I feel I used to, which sucks because if I felt hungry that would be a physical reminder that I need to eat. But some good news is, I just moved into my own house with my partner, and since having my own space and not needing to share a kitchen with others I’ve been eating twice a day much more than previously! I’ll eat a small to medium sized lunch, then eat dinner a few hours later. It’s only been about a week in the new house, so no actual physical changes have taken place but I have been getting into a habit of having lunch!

My mom says that there are some people that live to eat and others that eat to live. I met people that very much see food as fuel and don’t care about flavor or anything. Obviously it needs to taste good but good enough to be edible because it meets certain macros or has so much protein in it. You see body builder or fitness experts who eat boiled chicken and I’m like, “really, a little lemon or paprika is going to ruin your gains?”

I listen to you guys a lot and you often mention "masseuses." It's cringe because I'm a massage therapist, not a masseuse. I love you guys, so no judgment, it's just better to say "massage therapist." It's like calling a police officer a cop, not as respectful. Also, the head pulling is called traction and the point is to decompress the vertebrae. It's very beneficial, but if he was doing yanking movements that's definitely not safe unless he's a chiropractor.
