Love the way Lydia reassured Murugi about the standards - about the nanny package. You give yourself everything - the Best then give others a fraction of it. Love that❤
@ngalacaroline896610 күн бұрын
It was brilliant. I loved her point of view on the issue
@the_sunshinesunflower9 күн бұрын
The fact that she got out of her way to put together a package is kindness. A healthy person would not bother with the difference in products used. They would focus on the kindness and leave it there.

I starred watching tmi when I was struggling with self esteem, I had gone through something "embarrassing" but watching you guys talking free, sharing your experiences freely , and being women who have chosen to be positive healed me. You guys are doing a good job. Now am Okey , facing my fears , and breaking free from cycles , am just soo happy. You two are a real definition of girls girl.❤

Murugi about the self care basket- sustainability is important. You got your nanny products that she would also not struggle to afford to get herself incase they ran out and she wanted to buy them herself. Those are also products that we have all used / still use in most of our Kenyan households. Thank you for inspiring us & doing that in style ❤️ Let’s just learn to appreciate good gestures without nitpicking.

Murugi you probably will not read this, but if it helps.. if you were "holiday-gifting" your help may be the quality might have been different. But this was a welcome hamper with everyday necessities and it was very important that you put the standard she can maintain. Extreme Makeover built for struggling families houses they couldn't maintain interms of utility bills and they had to vacate them and get back to their humble lives. You did the right thing ❤

On the gifts thing, I think you can get someone a gift that's closer to their sustainability level. Like why get her an extra expensive thing that the can't maintain. I thought the gift basket was actually quite good. Wachana na hiyo siasa ingine.
@nyaradhiambo10 күн бұрын
Also, it's quite negative to think of gifts from pov of what the person owns. It's an objectively good thing. Ata Dove is a very good product.
@nyaradhiambo10 күн бұрын
Not everything has to be competitive. Like now, if Jeff Bezos gave me a CX5 (and the church shall say Amen), will I go about complaining that he could have gotten me a bugatti that I can't maintain or will I be thankful for the gift?
