Great 1st episode, can't wait to watch part 2!! "can't believe it worked" lol. I did manage to get that bowdrill to work in the end, not at the show, but a couple of days later on my birthday, at home, about 10 people watching and not one damn camera in sight!!!! hopefully see you guys soon, keep up the great vids, I will be watching. 😉

Two Men In The Wild I just spent too much money! Really enjoyed it, my first show, made some good friends too. I'll be back next year with my daughters.

nautilus 1 haven’t had time to make episode 3 yet as we have been really busy with www.stonecircle.org.uk - we want men to share our adventure in life as hapless amateurs who just love the wild. We have found some land and designed a course that allows men to buy the kit and learn the basics of being out in the wild, without needing to be Ray Mears. It’s easy to do this stuff and have fun with a mate and really good alternative to the pub!

nautilus 1 we plan to film episode 3 at the 2018 Bushcraft show (it’s becoming a theme !) - would love to meet you there for a beer and share some ideas. We want to make bushcraft accessible to everyone and share what we have learnt, which is that you don’t need to be Ray Mears, you just have to want to find a slower pace of life with a mate. Look for the kilts (for no other reason than we like them) and share a beer with us and find out where we are with www.stonecircle.org.uk

Nice video lads entertaining informative. Do get your self some good inexpensive wireless mics. You could even use your smart phone as a recording device. download the audio to your editing package and sync the sound with the video. All you need is a inexpensive mic like the ones manufactured by Pro JK on Amazon. They are only around 30 pounds.

Mr_Krasker Many thanks for the advice - we did realise after the fact that the sound wasn't great in places and it took a lot of editing to get rid of that generator in the background. We have now invested in a pair of wireless mics and plan to use them from now on!

So we have bought some wireless lapel mics but only used them in anger once so we are still playing the hapless amateur in many ways. What we want to do is share with other men that being in the wild is not about being an expert at anything, it’s about switching off Netflix and doing something else. Thank you for subbing to us - we fully intend to be a TV show one day but we are still focussing on our primary objective of giving men an place to go an learn and share and so we have spent the last year building a space up in Lincoln that men can come and re-find themselves away from their job title.
