Love that they actually re-did the move animations. Which is insane because Eddy's old animations were already fluid and held up very well. Tekken 8 truly feels like a true sequel that's been built from the ground up.

Lateef Crowder didn’t animate Eddy on this one, it was an Asian who motion captured him. I really enjoyed Lateef’s Mokap. I agree he looks stiff upper body, it’s certainly different. Probably will feel much different too.

@@fbasicst that's because the old animations were done by a Brazilian who was a real Capoeira master. The new animation is done by a Japanese guy who got inspired by Eddy Gordo to learn Capoeira.

This game in the 90s could not touch street fighter and MK.. but by the time eddy came out u really saw the hype with him. T3 sold great because of eddy.. im 40 years old and I was around for the arcade days lol and when fighting games were a big deal. 🫡

@TMM if the credits mean anything, he and Zafina somehow survived. they're shown in the credits when Jin wins, but when you do the ending for Kazuya they show other characters... so it's possible the credits are supposed to post story fight implications. if that's the case, they might still somehow be alive again lol
