Making it a homing high instead would remove its ground hitting capability and spam in the neutral. They can keep all plus frames they want.

Qcf4 dont guarantees 50/50 because of pushback sidesteps and backdash can be preformed(it is a different story at the wall). Main nerf qcf4 needs is reduce tracking and if +frames are redused same needs to be done with poshback.

Problem with DvJ buffs is it doesn't help is general gameplan in any way. Nobody below Fujin or hell even TK is gonna be hitting PEWGF's consistently. They're better off buffing frames on his worst moves.

A lot of Devil Jin players I've seen complaining about the EWGF change is that it just makes things too easy. They like the executional threshold that allowed them to punish -14 with a launch but now it's not as demanding.

This only works if the character is easy to play, where you still have a good balance with the reward, but we have braindead characters be the most op characters in the game, and very hard characters like dvj be bad, as for the pewgf, it's weird it took em so long, since release he had no ewgf simplification, Reina and kaz had pewgf, and Jin had fiendish rend, and since now heihachi came out with pewgf too, it would've been another punch to the groin on dvj mains if he didn't get one as well, also pewgf barely changed him, it just made one move and it's already existing combos easier to use, but very slightly, and the same speed as other mishimas, ewgf on Mishima matches with dvj were basically impossible cause they would always win with that 13 frame input instead of 14, but still that's about it, the character is still the same.

@@mothman566 It does give him a straight launch if you can respond to a hopkick with perfect execution. I'm not sure what exactly you'd do before this (b+1,2?) but now as long as you can do you have a consistent answer to a hopkick.

Xiaoyu's throws from backturn are homing. That's fine - each of these grabs needs around 30 frames to start. You can easily interrupt her by jabbing, and that will launch her for a full combo. If you can step these throws on reaction, there are no possible usability for them.

As much as I love the "some love" for devil Jin in this patch, it's still not nearly enough. I hope he gets some more minor buffs every patch moving forward, only then we would get somewhere. If they just buff df12 next time, he will literally get so much better while still not being S tier or even close. That move needs better tracking and that high jab at the end needs to either have faster startup frames or it needs to become a mid

They need to bring back Leroy’s cane to be used once in every round. You can only use it once every three rounds. He is already disadvantaged.

Yup that's very true. Also Leroy should be able to parry fully charged moves. He is weaker on offense so has parries, and not being able to parry things means why bother using a parry char.

After Yoshi getting his head smashed by a certain person, now he will face more brain concussion with that Spinning Evade. Knew that health consumption would increase after many ranted about that move. As a Yoshi main, this is probably the best approach of nerfing Spinning Evade and not changing other aspects of it.

I think if they were gonna change yoshi’s spin they shoulda made it a 20 damage use and 10 of it is recoverable. So it’s still usable and if you recover it with a punish it’s like you only use 10 health and get really punished for using the move haphazardly

As a jin main, im learning Reina and Lidia so i can play tekken respectfully My suggestions to balance him: 1) make his D2 more punishable (more minus frames) OR it no longer launches on CH (but gives a guaranteed CD1 ie); 2) "electrics" coming out of the "Red eyes" stance (basically the guaranteed zero execution electrics) should do less damage; 3) make his 2,1,4 string -10 if he completes the string (goes for the 4); 4) Nerf his Heat Smash, reducing the wall carry to like half 5) Nerf his 2,4 damage, since you already go into ZEN and get a free mixup as a result (a lot of other characters have this too in their 10f punishers tho) On the other hand, i would appreciate his Omen stance being buffed a bit, specially the range

I really wanna know whats MainMans problem with Jin. Hes S-Tier, yes, hes easy to play, yes. But I prefer playing against a Jin a billion times over half the rooster with their unga-bunga. Your just bad against characters you never use basically all female characters. Alisa is good but she's not as good as you think she's very reactable and very punishable. This is coming from one who doesn't play alisa anymore because I don't think she's good. Hers strings are bad with barely any variation. She barely has any plus frames other than f1 and f1+2 in chainsaw. The amount of character that have way more plus frames and don't even need to go into stance. She also doesn't even have a good while rising punish. Having said that she's she's above average but not s teir. Easy to use tho.

Honestly as a Devil Jin main I want only 2 changes: Make his DF1 either have crumple on hit or make his DF2 give a bit more push back on block. And please give his demon paw a bit more range or a bit more pushback it’s honestly just instant death whenever you use it cause pushback got nerfed. The Heat smash changes are nice I’m ok w those tbh. maybe give it a tad bit more range like if they are 2 steps behind its current range I guess? If not it’s aite. His poking is honestly very weak and I think that’s the actual issue most DVJ mains face with him, his big start up moves are gimmicky and unpredictable so it makes sense being that minus on block. His pokes being this weak really don’t make much sense to me tbh but maybe I’m just sad cause he looks so cool but to someone who knows the matchup he’s really not that scary. His grey health issues are also a bit crazy but I’m not a pro so it doesn’t bother me that much. Overall I really like his character and irrespective of nerfs or if they make him an NPC I’ll still play him lmao. 😂

Bottom tier in Tekken means absolutely nothing they can still win vs any character...Try playing a low tier character in other games..Then you will see what a actual low tier character is

Drag's qcf4 whiffs if oponent does a tech roll and depending on timing of cqf4 can do a WS launcher(it works unles Drag player does instant qcf4, but faster moves still avaliable). +7 on block is kinda fake presure because of the pushback, alot of Drag's options after qcf4 is blocked can be sidesteped, backdashed etc. Move is strong af but not as much as people would like to belive. (Maybe you meant ground roll and not a tech roll in wich case it can still be side rolled right, althou this option pretty bad).
