ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The best thing about this release imo is that Absolutely fantastic new box art by Kevin Eastman! He even used the old school duoshade paper that he and Laird used to draw the original comics on! That belongs on a wall!

I was lucky to find these at target and I love them. my only gripe is that the sai prongs aren't spread quite wide enough to properly accommodate raph's fingers.

Mirage TMNT, with all red masks & same bodies are THE BEST versions. You discover their differences from weapons & personalities. Much more interesting & clever than silly letters on belts & various colors

The colors changing in the cartoon was too help out the animators- though there are still plenty of mistakes in the 87 show where their voices get flipped around

@@funkin-fungoid The cartoon changed stuff to benefit young children who watched, they were the target audience. Obviously the original Mirage Comics TMNT was definitely dark & dirty. It’s wild how they went from that to super kid friendly..it made them way more popular but alas..not better ;)

9:03 I know you mentioned it in a footnote earlier, but the arm accessory is only meant to attach to the right arm, not the left. On all four figures, the right arms detach easily at the shoulder to accommodate this. But the left arms don't. For anyone having trouble detaching the arm, make sure you're doing the correct side.

Nice review! I have my Mikey on the same body as yours. Since he's my favorite I started swapping parts so I gave him Don's head and the extra arm with the wrap. Basically made my own perfect version of Mikey. My damn toys mean I do what I want with em. Dont care that some people think Mikey should be smiling or have a less scuffed up shell. Like others have said, you have Raph and Mikey mixed up. The weapons are packed with the wrong turtles. If you pop their heads off, each one has the letter of their respective turtle underneath.

You’re having a hard time with the arm popping out because you’re trying to pop it out on the Mikey figure. You have Raph and Mikey switched up.

It's more likely he was having trouble because he was trying to pop off the left arm at first. All four of the turtles' right arms pop off easily.
