i love these figs, originally only planned on buying the black and white versions, but the guy i bought them from offered me an amazing deal on the coloured box set. i couldnt resist, the price was around the same as what some people were asking for ONE figure. (£80 for the set)

Da'Shaun Stazzola I've heard this many many times tho I don't know about that. I have bought tons of sets of these. I have 4 real sets and countless bootlegs. I have bought what was said to be official in that type of packaging and never really were real. I can't find a good source to say neca sold these in that packing. If u know this for sure. Can u please send me a link or something as to how u know for sure. I always figured it's a story that got passed down cause the bootlegs are so good.

watch a youtuber called themthatgots tmnt bootlegsand he talksabout the diffrences pixel dan neca tmnt figs and phelous bootleg zone but technically the bootleg figures are real because its the necafactory but only diffrnce the neca bootlegs come on diff color schemes all red or all diff colored head bands diff plactic thats mor stiff and thick and thhey are a bit smaller

I found Leo and Mike at Hot Topic back in '08. They had Donny too, and if I had known at the time how ridiculously expensive they would become, I would've gotten him then. I only seen 'em twice before they disappeared off the shelves for good. I need to get Raph and Donny, preferably with the base since I have half of it anyway. But these Turtles are freakin' awesome! In the original stories they all wore red bandanas. It was the 80's tv kid cartoon that gave them all different colors. The Vurrent ongoing IDW comic starts them out with all red again, as they search for Raph. Then they go to the different colors again. The IDW stuff is great btw.

I just ordered a set of the multicolored bootlegs. I'm really excited. I just hope they don't fall apart on me. They only thing that ever held me back from getting theses were the all red masks. I prefer the cartoon colors.

They actually do have different sculpts. Sorta... Cause the scratches on the shell is diff for each one so the shells are diff

@69RedSeth he never specifies if these are the box set ones he just mentions that he also happens to own the box set, this set was sent to him loose and by looking at the arches on the feet, the shade of green on the shell, and lack of ab crunch you can tell they are the bootlegs. I can't tell if the bandanas are the harder plastic of rubber from this video or else that would be a dead giveaway as well

It was my understanding that the tube singles and a few complete B&W boxes were bootleg factory from China? and shows signe of the black outline rubbing off, and the B&W yellowing . Just what I heard.

lol! 7:13 Thats not articulation! Its meant to come apart into 2 pieces and you can take each end and slide them into each hand and then the bow back together, so that you don't risk breaking his fingers.

Yes. These are based off the comic. Only bootleg ones have color bandanas. April was blue suit and I think she wore green too and raph in comic was leader. Not leo..

AutumnAsh81 No one was really the leader in the Mirage comics. It was implied that Leo was the one who calls the shots, but no one was ever considered more skilled than the other very much. They were basically made to be all the same, with some personality differences.
